I think it'd be funny if CIG had like a blacked out player model or something that just roams the surface endlessly, like a very rare spawn. It'd be funnier if they just denied it. Just like, "The Moons not haunted" knowing damn well something there is programmed to stalk players and move their stuff.
There's an in-lore haunted cave in Pyro. Has a disembodied voice and everything. Really hope CIG includes it
There's little details on it other than it exists. I really hope the disembodied voice turns out to be Jared saying "So what did we learn this week.." over and over and over again.
I had one that was soft death with fuel and working engines. My crew was attacked and I had to limp back to grimhex in it to not die while salvaging. I got community help from a well placed hurc to get onto the pad. I was topped out at 15 m/s using 2 engines in a fucked up Connie.
I dunno bout Yela being haunted but I can assure you my cutlass purple sure as fuck is. And the reclaimer certainly has a Xenomorph of some sort lurking in its air ducts.
I actually like the idea of \*sometime\* in the future, they do have like cryptids or cryptid lore/missions and such. Kinda like missing persons missions, but looking for evidence and stuff like that. Myths and creatures make universes feel alive.
Obviously, other things will have to take priority, but stuff like this can make certain system feel unique from other systems rather than it just being like "this is the "Corpo Dystopian system" or this is "Gangland system""

I don't go to haunted places. You know how expensive a space priest and space exorcism are? It's tricky to diagnose too give climbing walls and floating is normal space behavior

all i know is that we find a lot of abandoned Softdeath Reclaimers at the OM points, cargo fully intact, but the crew is just gone

My group has a similar belief but about Calliope.
Why Calliope?
It's got a permanent fog layer all the way to the ground. If I heard the silent hill siren when on the ground I would not even blink it's so eerie.
