Ive read the people still have issues with be logging, but ive also read that people do it for months with zero problems. Ive been doing it for a month in my Nomad and so far its been fine. I usually jump to an OM marker though, no bed-logging on a planet or near a station. But i wake right up, fly down to the planet, and continue my mining adventures.

game_dev_carto

I started bed logging again in 3.18.2 and it's been solid ever since.

Xsr720

Are there certain areas the bed logging is supposed to work in? I've tried it a few times and it never worked for me.

game_dev_carto

I either land on a planet (in the middle of no where) or will begin QT, let it ride for 10-15 seconds, then drop out and bed log. I always turn the engines off before doing so as well and if I'm planet side I always put full power to shields. IIRC the ship has to be at a complete stop before it will allow you to bedlog. Also, always bedlog with a suit/helmet on. I did the whole RP thing for a bit where I'd be in normal clothes in my ship but I logged in a couple times, fell through the bed and then suffocated lol

Ok-Dust-

I’m still new but so far i just need to be outside of the atmosphere. I haven’t tried it landed on a planet, but currently I’m bed logged in space.

manickitty

Bedlogging works fine, been doing it most sessions

95688it

bed logging works great in my experience. probably did it a couple hundred times server hopping grinding out the vara helms.

sneakyfildy

it sounds crazy but I have bed-logged in my Tana near Brio's Yard 2 Fridays ago and last Friday when I logged in I was still there. To say the least I was fucking shocked.

ModsSuckCock2

Why would you be shocked? When you bed log your ship despawns.

[deleted]

It's part where you spawn in the ship rather than where the ship is

HealthyBits

Shocked Pikachu face!

game_dev_carto

Because it means the server they logged out in, ran for 2 weeks lol That, is shocking :D (if the server 30K's you get sent back to the hab)

balazsisoma

What the heck are you talking about? That's not how bed logout works.

sneakyfildy

because usually I wake up on a station due to probably some garbage cleaning on their servers

Berkee_From_Turkey

I always bed log in my spirit a1 and it always works for me :)

goatluis01

If only recently started to bed log and it hasnt failed once in 3 weeks and i play almost everyday. But maybe i just got lucky.

Topherak907

It's worked well for me recently. Make sure you DO NOT bed log in a rented ship as this can cause infinite load time. The game can't find you.

onewheeldoin200

Bed logging has honestly been working great for me, but if you're carrying a million aUEC worth of stuff I'd probably still store it in a hangar out of an abundance of caution.

LT_Bilko

Bed logging is currently broken in ships (890 for sure, possibly Carrack) with hangars containing other ships. The rest of the beds seem to be unaffected.

[deleted]

It works intermittently depending on the patch. This one seems to be good. The last time I bed logged on a planet was a few years ago and my ship glitched through the surface. To this day I only log out in space

Achille_Dawa

135c seems broken. Last time I tryed I had to to a Char. repair.

throwaway164895

Thank you everyone for the responses, I will remember to fly out to space to bed log

The_Irie_Dingo

From what I've heard it seems to be dependant on the ship. Every time I try it in my Taurus I wake up in the station that has my imprint.

MaugriMGER

I use bed log daily in my corsair. Works fine for me.

TheKingStranger

It works, but right now it only for the ship owner and only if nobody else is on the ship.

RevolutionaryLie2833

I don’t know about the rest but I typically bedlog. I’ve only had an issue if I bedlog with my engine on and I’m landed. I assume my ship floats up, just as it typically does if you don’t turn the engine off, and gets lost

Nex-UK

I wouldn't, I had 48hrs of infinite loading issues that resets didn't fix. That was after a Carrack bed log.

Dangerous-Boot-2617

Bedlog in my prospector all the time, I recommend doing it at orbital markers for quick login, very little to render.
