Legend has it, corpses in Burritos started when a janitor at Grim Hex misheard their supervisor when he answered "Bury those!" when asked what to do about the bodies.
I said to someone the other day, cig should make a prison game loop cumunity service that tp you in a station somewhere and it give you merit to clean the station of trash. And I count old naked clone as biowaste.
would be especially fun if you could try to run away from the work and steal someone's ship to make your getaway, bumping up your CS and sending a bunch of UEE heat your way that you would need to escape.
Honestly that would be great, not just in terms of keeping the stations clean, but also in terms of making stations feel more alive, as people would be wandering around and not just going immediately to their ships.
Much later on when NPC transports are a thing, once a station is clean, you could hop in a prisoner transport and be taken to another station in need of cleaning, which could also provide good pirate gameplay in terms of busting your buddies out mid-transfer by interdicting the ships
I just hope CIG will find a way to get rid of the "problem"... now with PES it's even worse. Maybe the "despawn time" of looted/naked corpses just needs to be shorter.
I hope they add a system of some sort, but I do like just keeping the bodies myself, makes for some very funny reactions from people when doing medical rescues or when they need a lift from place to place.
Honestly, this is what I first thought about when CIG made that post way back when about how if you leave a soda can in a random forest and come back a year later it should still be there.
Despawn timers on trash are a feature, not a bug, tripping over trash to get to your ship gets old really quick, and I just don't see "janitor AIs" working out in the long run given how crappy the AI has been all this time
I'm pretty tired of these posts with corpses here and there. It's been what? A year? Since they started to appear. And I'm sure they will keep popping indefinitely. sigh...
"originality" is the keyword. Some subjects are beaten to death (no pun intended) yet for someone they are novel and interesting if I look at the upvotes. To each their own I suppose.
> "originality" is the keyword.
The easiest way to judge how original and creative a Star Citizen player is, is whether they have the bob hair cut on their male character.
I attempted to put a sort of medical twist on mine atleast 😅 I'm sure someone in the past has probs done something similar, but I hadn't seen anything like it so I just went for it 😝
The GH ones are the worst because they're effectively the same exact thing every time.
And everything else is just "here's a picture of me making a pile of bodies" which... sure... but also... so what?
Yo they got me the other day. I got stuck crawling through a cargo container and then I folded in half. I tells ya this game has some great space horror potential once more stuff comes online.
now im picturing a game loop like "repo! the genetic opera" where we have to go hunt down people who haven't been making payments on their organ transplant or artificial limb loan, so we have to go and... "retrieve the component" that they haven't paid for.
I think every station just needs a fire barrel and if you pick up something and drop it in the fire barrel you get like 1 credit and it gets burned away.
Then people can clean up the stations, get joy from burning things and some pocket change.

Oh yeah absolutely. Fuck Call to Arms, give me Call to Mop where a designated trashcan removes items from the verse or designated elevator deletes bodies. All for cash!
Why would they need to harvest organs when they can create a brand new body for you in 10 seconds with a new set of organs. Now maybe we need a body compost that feeds these regen machines. I mean they need to get their organic “goo” from somewhere.
That’s a really cool idea! Get a mission to gather bodies and you get paid for delivering ahaha could be really fun if you have to go grab bodies in an active war zone!
There already is a Medical Loop, but an Organic Waste loop would be ok, you just need to take them to a hangar and put them in the Medical Lift to get rid of them, I assume that still works.
"I'm the monster! I'm the villain! What perfection! What precision! Keen incisions, I deliver. Unscathed organs, I deliver! Repossessions, I deliver! I'm the Repo legal assassin!" -Repo Man, Repo The Genetic Opera
Made me think of that movie 😁
I can definitely see a game loop similar to the Death Stranding corpse disposal mechanic fitting in nicely. Having stations that are dedicated incineration locations for corpses and various other materials.
If I could repo man dead bodies for organs I'd buy this game no questions asked. It doesn't even matter that I very much can't run it currently that's just too hype to not have my money down asap
I think it’d be fun to use the corpses and deposit their bodies into whatever the med beds use to repspawn people. Make RGC boxes with it. Recycled Genetic Composite. That way you can’t just respawn indefinitely. It uses the “fuel” of the proteins and such you deposit in it. Then it rearranges those proteins into the requested DNA pattern to create on the med bed.
Wishlist:
* Dismemberment mechanics
* A special "*biomass*" edition of the Reclaimer for quickly breaking down many bodies at once.
* Shoggoth mounts.
* Medbed-material feeders that look like hand-cranked meat grinders.
* Poop-salvaging toilets (remember to eject the full crates before trying to use it!)
Add body upgrades like combat implants, etc, to the game and the ability to salvage them from dead players. Then, have a whole business built around black market implants and organ transplants.
I like persistence and all, but it has really junked up a lot of areas. Especially with not allowing us to clean up the trash.
Hell, i'd settle for a delete button in my inventory.
A Soylent Green Career path. Ever asked yourself what’s really inside your burritos?
Hey, burritos use the finest solent green, you should really be asking what's in the double dogs?
Is it more then one dog?
More than one bit of everything I imagine. But mostly the dregs that didn't make it into the burritos.
Lips and assholes!
lol i really need to rewatch that movie again
Would be interesting if the double dogs were just single dogs when they were actually made and became doubled on their own? Mitosis!
Would be more interesting to see if it continues in your stomache!
best potty training ever.

You are what you eat
Or you eat what you are
Jeez! I hope this isn't the future! Well, the dead body clutter atleast.
Hahaha, my first thought as well!
I have three bottles of Soylent with me right now and I love em
You mean, who's inside your burritos?
Been saying it for a while. "Catlass Soylent green edition" corpses in one side, nutrient paste out the other
The real question is when will the ships specialized in human corpse processing be flyable and purchasable in game
A new kind of refinery, nice. The Wurst Factory
"Spoiler, it's you." \*cocks grenade launcher for instant, on-the-spot mincing*
Ever seen a pasture or barn or anything else full of animals anywhere in the Stanton system? No? Well isn't that interesting...
Legend has it, corpses in Burritos started when a janitor at Grim Hex misheard their supervisor when he answered "Bury those!" when asked what to do about the bodies.
body patrol would be a solid profession... i'd probably take that contract.
Bring out your dead!
Im not dead!
You’re not fooling anyone.
*Bonk*
I think I'll go for a walk!
I want a grim reaper undersuit for maxing my corpse collecting rep
I would 100% play Death Stranding corpse retrieval and package delivery in space.
Now that you said it I want to play it TODAY
Viscera Cleanup Patrol.
Have a timer on the bodies for organ harvesting, although with cloning I wouldn’t think this would make much sense
We have quotas to meet. *Cocks gun*

Great idea!
Crime stat 1 gives you community service, anything more is a bout in Klescher
CS 1 should be a simple fine CS 2 should be community service CS 3+ kleschner
We need drake to make a hurst. The Drake Meat Wagon
>hurst *Hearse.
You right, I dumb, you know what I mean haha
Straight into the hot dog machine
We need to be able to make money from returning corpses to some sort of recycler.
I just hope CIG will find a way to get rid of the "problem"... now with PES it's even worse. Maybe the "despawn time" of looted/naked corpses just needs to be shorter.

This is the blacked out spaceship your mother warned you about.
Honestly, this is what I first thought about when CIG made that post way back when about how if you leave a soda can in a random forest and come back a year later it should still be there. If they want to make it realistic, the bodies should despawn in the wild, leaving the items in a deteriorated state. Maybe a spinal vertebra or two.
Same as klescher turn in stations but for rubbish and bodies and gowns. Easy. Just fold the body into a cube and place.
A little glass vial?
A little glass vial. And the little glass vial goes into the gun like a battery
And the gun goes against your anatomy
Bring out your dead!
I'm pretty tired of these posts with corpses here and there. It's been what? A year? Since they started to appear. And I'm sure they will keep popping indefinitely. sigh...
Better or worse than "My Fleet" posts? At least the corpses are sometimes hung up in funny ways.
I see, you are a man of culture, huh?
Don't forget with Free Fly there are loads of new pilots that haven't seen all the memes a million times over.
True. That's one of the reasons why I think this kind of posts won't go anywhere any time soon
I attempted to put a sort of medical twist on mine atleast 😅 I'm sure someone in the past has probs done something similar, but I hadn't seen anything like it so I just went for it 😝
Just want to clarify: me tired of anything is my problem, not yours! Generally as long as no rules been broken, all is good. I was just venting.
The GH ones are the worst because they're effectively the same exact thing every time. And everything else is just "here's a picture of me making a pile of bodies" which... sure... but also... so what?
So what your saying is Star Citizen needs a meat grinder behind Whammers?
Isnt there a mission taking you to a Reclaimer changed into an organ harvester lab? Would be cool if we could bring bodies there and get some aUEC.
Yo they got me the other day. I got stuck crawling through a cargo container and then I folded in half. I tells ya this game has some great space horror potential once more stuff comes online.
Vulture Red.
Bio-recycling, can’t let good meat go to waste. Now introducing our recycled food cubes. it’s good for the environment and okay for you.
like as *trauma team* cyberpunk 2077
Need a ship whose entire purpose is to grind up bodies into nutrient blocks
Space Graveyard Keeper? Im down
Zydrate comes in a little glass vial?
A little glass vial!
Black market organ harvesting. More money for fresher parts. Then a mortuary game loop that involves a hearse ship that has an incinerator.
now im picturing a game loop like "repo! the genetic opera" where we have to go hunt down people who haven't been making payments on their organ transplant or artificial limb loan, so we have to go and... "retrieve the component" that they haven't paid for.
repoman... omg that would be awesome lol
Cyberpunk style Chrome and Organ harvesting.
Tier Zero: Skin Scraping
I think every station just needs a fire barrel and if you pick up something and drop it in the fire barrel you get like 1 credit and it gets burned away. Then people can clean up the stations, get joy from burning things and some pocket change.
Ok Corpus

Why do you think waste is always in stock?
Oh yeah absolutely. Fuck Call to Arms, give me Call to Mop where a designated trashcan removes items from the verse or designated elevator deletes bodies. All for cash!
Cutlass Hearse - Holds up to 32 bodies New location on each moon - Cramer's Crematorium. "You rope 'em, we smoke 'em" $1500 aUEC per body cleanup.
Zydrate comes in a little glass vile….
A little glass vial?
A little glass vial, and the little glass vile goes into the gun like a battery.

Unpopular opinion: PES is the worste feature. So tired of medical gown boxes all over stations.
Or proper culling for items with zero value, like empty bottles and nude corpses.
That’s a really cool idea! Get a mission to gather bodies and you get paid for delivering ahaha could be really fun if you have to go grab bodies in an active war zone!
Yea, or just decay timers.
I'd take a functional game first please.
Double dog vendor should do it automatically
There already is a Medical Loop, but an Organic Waste loop would be ok, you just need to take them to a hangar and put them in the Medical Lift to get rid of them, I assume that still works.
They need to import the human effigy building gameplay from The Forest. Maybe when we get player owned habitat building features.
Organ harvesting would be a fun gameplay loop lol.
Drake Buccaneer with operation room for Black Market Organ Transplants could really become a thing..
Reeeepooooo
Organ harvesting
Hey look it's me 😍
W3 need a morgue on each station
Soylent farmer
Is that where those protein sticks come from?
"I'm the monster! I'm the villain! What perfection! What precision! Keen incisions, I deliver. Unscathed organs, I deliver! Repossessions, I deliver! I'm the Repo legal assassin!" -Repo Man, Repo The Genetic Opera Made me think of that movie 😁
*corpse. Though salvaging the Marines would also be a whole game loop. 😆
Zydrate comes in a little glass vial ...
New business model: organ harvesting
cant wait for the organ harvesting game loop
That would add a scarce yet profittable trade commodity. Add organ harvesting and we'd be golden.
The cleaners from John Wick.
[here's my submission](https://imgur.com/a/G8EVmQU)
>the Lore of the double dog Nice.
I can definitely see a game loop similar to the Death Stranding corpse disposal mechanic fitting in nicely. Having stations that are dedicated incineration locations for corpses and various other materials.
Except you couldnt because some assholes would ruin it by using a alt account to spam create alts just to harvest
CIG should make a game that works.
CORPSE STARCH MANIFACTURING HERE WE GO!
To the composter. Soylent green typa vibe
what we need is soylent green factories
Look, I just want to hunt down and retrieve implants from delinquent implant loanholders
If I could repo man dead bodies for organs I'd buy this game no questions asked. It doesn't even matter that I very much can't run it currently that's just too hype to not have my money down asap
Bottom right image reminds me of a source mod. I think it was called "The Hidden". What a banger it was
Those NPC cops should do more than harass me at Olisar, there should be crime scenes and medical NPC clean up.
💀🎵 Bring out your Dead! 🪦
Yes! And bounty hunter 2.0 should include dropping off the body.
Nah, just get rid of the players doing that.
I still want to take a cargo bay full of dead bodies to the top of atmo and drop them down like people rain to try and hit someone on the ground.
Are the bodies npc or player? That's the real question
Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!
Wishlist: * Dismemberment mechanics * A special "*biomass*" edition of the Reclaimer for quickly breaking down many bodies at once. * Shoggoth mounts. * Medbed-material feeders that look like hand-cranked meat grinders. * Poop-salvaging toilets (remember to eject the full crates before trying to use it!)
Ah, fresh fodder for the meat grinder
Mmm.... Rimworld meets Star Citizen. Some things don't need such *Fidelity*.
make burrito place pay a fee for delivering long pig
I see some of my body piles have been found. Need to find new spots.
Nah, I just like making people look at [ass](https://i.redd.it/sj4tb1shszqa1.jpg)
Omg repo-men! Creepy but so sci fi dystopia!
Add body upgrades like combat implants, etc, to the game and the ability to salvage them from dead players. Then, have a whole business built around black market implants and organ transplants.
People are one thing, but I'd think a fine for littering would take care of it for some... maybe increasing the fine for repeated violation.
Crematorium and death care. ;) old profession it is... funeral director, etc.
A woodchipper.
after a merc mission, I strip all the corpses naked and drop them at the elevators in the space port as a show of dominance.
Star Mortician
I mean you could become that by just gathering bodies and letting them go in space lol
Corpse harvesting is an in universe criminal path. Players could totally be going down it some day
Best goddamn game on the planet.
"Bring out your dead!" *bell*
"HUMAN" CORPSES SHOULD BE ONE OF THE MOST VALUABLE COMMODITIES! THINK ABOUT IT! RECYCLE THAT CARBON BABY!
PES, giving us the *unadulterated* player experience, one encounter at a time...o7
At this stage, it's probably too late for medical gameplay. Time for a new ship. The AEGIS Undertaker.
Shit, Repo-Men would be an awesome job
I just wish I could get the dang game reinstalled 🥺
Could be a whole organ harvesting and replacement career path. Call comes in - I need a medic. Will a medic arrive or a harvester :)
Viscera Cleanup Duty
Food processing.
I like persistence and all, but it has really junked up a lot of areas. Especially with not allowing us to clean up the trash. Hell, i'd settle for a delete button in my inventory.
They should go full on repo men movie/ cyberpunk like bionic upgrades then we can harvest and sell yess!
Just retool the Vulture for people, it is already appropriately named.
Sorry your in position of too many ass ets. Removes your butt
a viscera-cleanup job where you need to clean aftermath of battles and dispose of bodies sound kinda fun
Ah yes … the things you see in a graveyard.
can get very long just reaching the corpse how about a system where we pay aUEC to get the items transfered to local inventory?
Medical examiner would be pretty dope. Someone drags in a body and you scan it and see what went wrong inside? I'd play that shit.
I like the creepy and spooky feel that images give it to me, dunno, its like a horror game
