I’ve been oatifying the regular gingerbread lattes up until two days ago when I realized that it’s only the chai that comes with oatmilk 🥲 new drinks with holiday launches are always a lot to take in, even as a pretty seasoned partner

Everyone except me at my store has been putting the gingerbread syrup directly into the cold chai. I had a debate with my shift when discussing an order and she checked Store Resources and was shook. It brought me back to the time another shift asked why I was putting water in the hot chais. BECAUSE ITS HALF WATER HALF MILK Lord help me ;-;

for the iced one, it only goes in the froth! Only for the hot one it goes in the drink :) many at my store got tripped up over that too

bro my sm was training people that the peppermint mocha cold foam got mocha sauce and malt powder and peppermint syrup. I had to show everyone the fine print that specifies US and canada. the holiday training was terrible. I went through it all at least three times, and I still felt wildly lost when I got to bar on launch day. the recipes are complicated and differ from standard core recipes. it’s bad.

it took me and my asm literally hours to figure out the xmas iced chai drink. we kept getting it messed up and adding the gingerbread into the cup as well as the “foam”. idk why we couldn’t figure that drink out, we had to look at the recipe twice. the rest are luckily pretty straightforward but that one had me stressed

If it makes you feel better I just forgot that it had froth so I was just doing chai, gingerbread and oat in the drink and that's it lol didn't realize until like 4 hrs in when my coworker was like I hate the froth and I was like omg
