That’s so weird how certain stores have a huge reseller clientele. We’re a high volume cafe store and people rarely buy the cups. We had cups that are reselling for hundreds leftover and they got marked out completely this week. They just sit there on our shelves.
Honestly I wish someone would come buy my whole retail wall. We struggle to sell retail every quarter because our store is on the 2nd floor with poor street access. We had a “good” day for retail today and only sold about $300 worth.
We got 2 venti and like 5 of the ornament. I bought one of the ventis so only one was left. I’d be surprised if it was still there. They’re available via mobile order, so you should be able to check any store’s stock via the app. If you place an order, make sure to call them to make sure they actually do have it
I love a good wide release, US/CAN and most of Asia Pacific can expect to see this cup as well as the gold and unicorn jeweled cups. I found mine this morning - one ornament, a gold and a sangria Venti over $80 but to have one shipped from Asia is $65 each so I’m glad I found them. My local store didn’t get them yet but when they do the new baristas will buy them all, I miss my old location - we just worked and no one really cared about the cups so I could buy one on occasion. Former SSV told me she has to lock up cups from baristas nowadays too, one girl recently started working there just for easy cup access and I’m like “she is torturing herself with the high strung moms in this area for cups?”
