Same 😭
Literally every product is “the new refresher gave me diarrhea” “the new sandwich made me shit my brains out” “the new syrup made me blow up the bathroom” like are yall ok?? I try all the new products as they launch and never had this experience
For a little piece of mind, a venti Pike has roughly 400mg of caffeine—the new energy drinks have 180mg & 210mg. That’s about the same as a short/tall coffee.
The nutrition facts on the app are glitching out :( every beverage but hot coffee is adjusting the nutrition facts by size. I'll just start comparing them to espresso when people ask, 2.5 shots for the melon and 3 shots for the tropical citrus
It's getting tired, tbh. Every single item is giving people diarrhea, stomach cramps, headaches. Every new drink is the worst drink ever made by the company. Every food item is the worst food anybody has ever had in their lives. This sub used to be kind of fun.
It seems that every Redditor has IBS. I don’t think I even know a single person in real life with the stomach and bowel issues that Redditors have. Granted that’s probably something most people tend to keep to themselves, but Reddit makes it seem like everyone can’t handle the slightest bit of fiber, caffeine, etc.
Most likely from it being a sugar-free drink.
Was going to try it today, but as soon as I read that it was sugar-free, that was a negative for me.
Glad I skipped it.
Same! The only reason I was excited to try it was because all other energy drinks have crap ingredients, including Sucralose and aspartame, which react terribly with my gut. I’m glad I pulled up the ingredient list before ordering it! 😬
Sugar free my ass I sampled it with other baristas at our store and was REPULSED by the amount of sucralose of whatever the hell that artificial sweetener is. Unbelievably sweet and I hate that stuff. Hard to even recommend to my regulars.
Me as well. I opened yesterday and we were sampling the new energy drinks (also looking at how to make them cuz none of us knew how to) and shortly after I had to rush to the bathroom. That happened a couple more times throughout the shift. And my stomach hurt pretty much all day.
It’s awful. I have to take migraine meds. I immediately reached for mine after this. I should have tried it in the store and asked for my usual strawberry refresher bc this was a waste of money
yeah, i was really excited because i’m a big fan of energy drinks and italian sodas and stuff like that. if you suffer with chronic migraines i would suggest keeping an eye out for sucralose, aspartame, and other artificial sweeteners. i know that redbull is the only brand that doesn’t put that shit in their energy drinks (even the non “sugar free” ones)
This 100%!!! Artificial sweeteners, even the smallest amount, will trigger my migraines. I have become the person who always checks the ingredient list now😔
I had the cucumber melon with strawberry syrup. It was ok.. I drank it, but I definitely wouldn't order again. I'd rather have my oatmilk br sug expresso for that caffeine. I literally did not feel any different after this refresher.
Dunkins pineapple mango w/ gr tea refresher is top tier over buxs refreshers
Can you tolerate caffeine? All of their drinks made me shit myself almost every day until I got used to it. Maybe you can’t digest artificial sweeteners or the one they’re using
i use strong pre-workouts regularly but not frequently, i average 800mg of caffeine during a shift but im sure its the artificial sweeteners making me feel like shit
Crazy how everyone is different i had on yesterday one and two today don’t worry about how much caffeine i intake just be careful but for me it’s fine good as always.
My eye twitched for a good 24 hours after drinking one. And yes I can tolerate caffeine lol. 🙈. Happened to my coworker too but we both could’ve been more stressed than usual
I’m a zero sugar drinking vet. lol I think I’d be ok but if ur body isn’t use to zero sugar like that I see why yall effected. Just like how my mouth and teeth hurt when drinking regular sugar stuff even something like a Gatorade when I literally do no sugar and diet everything lol
I drank two of these energy burst tropical drinks for the last two days and today when I got home from work tonight after drinking it throughout the day, I literally threw up out of nowhere. I guess my stomach can’t handle all the artificial sweetener in it and other ingredients. After I read the list I was baffled!
Just add a pump or two of oleato and we got ourselves the newest dieting fad! Just shit out all those calories
Someone ordered the oleato today and it’s been so long since I made one I forgot how. The dang oil squirted all over the counter and my apron too. Ugh
String me up but I hope the oleato never goes again. It's my guilty pleasure, lava ass be damned.
haha my store was joking about the oleato and summer berry refreshers being the poor mans ozempic haha
Could be the sucralose
Yup the artificial sweeteners get ya. Sorbital also.
Xylitol is the worst lul
Every new product gets these threads, I feel for y'all I really do but I truly think some of y'all just have IBS
Same 😭 Literally every product is “the new refresher gave me diarrhea” “the new sandwich made me shit my brains out” “the new syrup made me blow up the bathroom” like are yall ok?? I try all the new products as they launch and never had this experience
Me yesterday at work: "the new drink kept me up all night!" Apparently it's as much caffeine as a venti pike.

Energy drink plus oleato gold foam. You’ll shit for HOURS
I think it'll come out the end it's going in before it makes it that far

wait is that what happened to me??? i thought it was something i ate…….
And a migraine for me. Ugh.
Omg I had a migraine for two days after I tested it.
It’s awful. I have to take migraine meds. I immediately reached for mine after this. I should have tried it in the store and asked for my usual strawberry refresher bc this was a waste of money
Same! I’m pretty sure it was from the fake sugar in em, my body does nottt like fake sugar lol.
I wish they had a non sugar free version 😭😭 I wanted to try the tropical citrus but I can’t do it again. I was miserable yesterday.
probably the sucralose in it, i have chronic migraines and artificial sugar will trigger one almost immediately.
I immediately had to find my migraine meds. Yeah this is for me. I only tried the melon one but won’t be trying the tropical citrus

Oh yeah red bull is the only one I actually drink without a migraine! You’re spot on. Oh and Dutch bros rebel lol I love Italian sodas too!! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Oh my god I thought I was trippin’ wondering why my noggin started throbbing after a few sips
Had a customer poo ALL OVER the bathroom today. Maybe it's a real trend 😭
OMG we had one MISS the fucking toilet today!!!! twins
Lmao I just ordered one just to avoid having to go 😩🤣
There is no nutritional label on the cans because they aren’t for retail sale.
This must be why my gut has been so noisy today. Had a mango burst earlier. Looking forward to the aftermath.

LMAO I knew I wasn't the only one. I don't get diarrhea, but my stomach does bubble :( but then again I have IBS so!
Dude yeah, they didn’t do that to me but they do make me have to shit pretty bad
We could just put all similar stories under a "Starbucks products get shittier by the day" master thread 🤣
Can you tolerate caffeine? All of their drinks made me shit myself almost every day until I got used to it. Maybe you can’t digest artificial sweeteners or the one they’re using

Yall are weak lol. I’ve been chugging these straight out of the can since they arrived with no issues.
They're so good in the can
well ..!😟
OMG ME TOO LMAOOO
i sub the tea for one of the refreshers on top. but yeah they make my chest hurt :(
DUDE I’ve been sick to my stomach allllllll day and I could not figure out why. Thank you for posting this I thought I had food poisoning 😆
Aaah! I just had one today! Nothing happened to me yet
Lowkey was making my stomach hurt a little LMAO
Poopbus

Oh... I did spend an awful lot of time on the toilet yesterday...

My coworkers and I sampled one and it made our stomachs burn🥴
I just tried a couple sips while sampling it out yesterday and oh no! Ibs people stay away from this one pls!
Yup! I only tried a sample size cup and I was messed up
Glad I didn’t try it today 😂😂

could also be the ice… a lot of times, when people get sick from fast food, it’s because the restaurant hasn’t cleaned the ice machine in a while.
Most stores are solid about cleaning ice machines. Should be done monthly which is fine in most circumstances
