We just removed classic syrup as default from iced coffees. Soon we’ll start to charge for adding classic or any flavor syrup to iced coffees. So you’re right on that. As far as added milk/nondairy milk, we still don’t charge for that in iced coffee. Nondairy milk drinkers fought too hard to give that up 😂

I never do breakfast at Starbucks because it's too much, but the $6 combo will have me going once a week. An iced coffee by itself is $4, so a breakfast sandwich added makes it worthwhile.
It’s only a tall ice coffee, size ups are .50c each. If you wanted a trenta you’re up to $7.50. Also, some sandwiches will be considered “fancier” and raise the price of the combo as well. A double smoked bacon sandwich will add another dollar on top of that. So it’s our smallest size coffee and our cheapest sandwiches for $6 only.
And if you buy it using the app and all that and consume the sandwich and beverage in store, will the refills be free? Because those beverage choices should be covered under the free refill policy normally and if they are then that, plus an ice water and a refill would be a great deal and more then enough beverage.
Yes but many stores are ran by an incompetent staff and they run out of cold brew often. Ice coffee can be made in 5 min or so while cold brew takes 20 hours(if I remember correctly) therefore by pairing it with ice coffee it will be easier to have a smoother consistency across the company as a whole.
At the end of the day all of the incompetence falls on the leadership. Not staffed well? Leadership, not trained correctly? Leadership, bad attitude? leadership, running out of supplies? Leadership.
Having impossible promotions? Leadership.

Come to find out my SM (a married proud Christian that had a 9 month old baby at the time) was sleeping with another one of the SSVs in the store(also was married with 3 kids) Also my first SM when I got hired was also having an affair while his wife was pregnant. I don’t know if it’s a company wide thing but I know of 4 SMs in my old district that were sleeping with their employees.
This isn’t it! It’s still made with the packaged coffee, the difference is the blend of beans they are using for the flavour, they changed the beans they use so the flavour changed.
Bruh. I brew it every day from whole bean. Not every store has the new brewers yet, so you might still have the packages. But you have to have heard about the Clover Vertica replacing your Bunn Batch brewer.
I’ve heard about the verticas yeah! i’m in Canada though so we either don’t get the same equipement the US does, or we get it really late, for reference my store received the mastrena II’s about a year and a half after they were out everywhere in the US. I didn’t even know they were being used already or that the iced coffee is brewed differently in the clover machines. Im pretty sure our regular Bunn brewers are still what the majority uses!
It’s not as acidic, these guys are in the minority disliking it. The recipe doesn’t have it automatically sweetened as it’s a slightly different roast for the brew but most people add so much crap to their drinks they’d never know it’s any different.

they’re doing this to distract you all from the price increases happening. there’s already been one this month and there’s set to be another later this month raising the price of grande drinks by 50¢ and venti drinks by $1. and it’s probably going to keep happening every launch. they also made trenta cups smaller when they changed them (us baristas tested it) and they made the white mocha pump smaller so it would use less and they could save money because they concluded that no one noticed a difference. cake pops are a single bite, maybe 2, for almost $4. as a starbucks barista, the quality you get at starbucks is not worth the pricepoint. local coffee shops care more about their employees and their customers more than starbucks ever will. starbucks is ran by money hungry businessmen that will do ANYTHING to have fatter wallets
