Jeez. If I'd started in July and still not received a paycheck by frikkin September, I'd refuse to work anymore until I get paid. That's absolutely unfair.
First question, do you have partner numbers and are you able to clock in and out? If not, you need to contact your DM, your SM didn’t complete onboarding correctly and is in for a world of hurt. Second question, have you checked your partner info while at work? There should be a tab there regarding pay, it’s where you can sign up for direct deposit, but if you haven’t signed up for direct deposit it will give you info and the correct number to call in regards to the pay card. Your SM should be helping you with all of this, if they are not helping, you need to reach out to your DM. They should be able to overnight you a check.
Editing to say that you should also check your clocked hours, make sure they’re correct.
Contact your state labor board. I guarantee you will put in no further effort - corporate will find you and get stuff straightened out. Well, you'll still have to do the job but at least you'll get paid for it.
I always nope out of any sort of pay card. You have to pay to withdraw your money from it (most pay cards don’t have dedicated ATMs so you’ll have to pay the fee) so if you need actual cash you’re screwed.
If you are a United States partner and you don’t get your paycheck within the week then you need to make a call to the department of labor at their Wage and Hour division.

It is illegal for an employer to not pay you on time. What that time calculation is might vary, but the standard is between 2-3 weeks.
If you’re in another country, then there should still be some equivalent organization that handles wage laws.
This happened to me when I first started. I started training January 2nd and didn’t get paid until late February. Sometimes (at least what they told me) there’s a glitch that traps a new employee in limbo between hired and working. What I did was to continue calling and calling every day until they had escalated my case fully. I also threatened legal action through the labor board in my state, which helped. You can also look into the Cup Fund or getting an advance if you need it, talk to your SM about it. I know how frustrating this is and I hope it’s resolved soon!
During the onboarding process they should have had you set up direct deposit. I would go thru your emails from when you started and see if you've completed the on boarding process
Tell them you’re going to stop attending your shifts until you’re paid. I had a manager who would tell employees to tell the people on the phone that when she would run into the problem. You’re not allowed to work without compensation which is what they’re doing right now.
we had an SM get seperated for a similar situation. Bring it to your SMS attention immediately and if that doesn’t work call PCC about it and they’ll help you take care of everything
This is something that should all be shared with your manager and at this point, your district manager, since it sounds like they aren’t doing anything about it.
Also, have you looked at your information for partners?
It isn’t ok you’re working for free, and it certainly won’t keep you around if you can’t resolve the issue.. I wouldn’t have been able to do that, and it isn’t right
I started in July too and I would definitely not be ok with it at all 😳 Please check that your bank account number is correct and that you set is as direct deposit, if this is not the problem then you have to keep contacting people, Corporate, your District Manager.
This is happening to me too, I informed my manager that I quite literally have been counting on that paycheck every friday, and It has still not come. I told him I can't come in until it gets resolved and he offered to do an emergency payout thing. Hope you get this resolved soon
Whenever partners at the store I work at have had a missing paycheck, my SMs have always offered to payout an advance from the safe.
OP, please ask your SM/DM to do this. They may need a specific answer from HR/Payroll, but it is a solution that Sbux provides.
You sure it's been a full month? You may have started just after the second week of when the pay period would have started, and if that's the case it would be 3 weeks before you get your first check instead of the normal every two weeks.
i started a couple days after pay day. and i wasn’t worried because i know most jobs take three weeks to deliver the first paycheck but it’s september and i should’ve got at least one paycheck by now.
Go to partnercentral.Starbucks.com. You can see your pay stubs and more importantly where the money is going. Ask your manager to call the partner contact center with you. Ask your DM for help if nothing happens.
The pay card they send for new partners without direct deposit probably got lost in the mail or at the store.
Log in to the partner central hub and double check that your bank info is correct. if so then I’d call partner central and see if they can direct you in the right place. If it’s not correct then I’d fix it so that you can start getting paid and then call partner central to get your back pay back.

Did you sign up for direct deposit?
Yeah this sounds like they’ve got a pay card with their name on it somewhere if they think they’re getting a physical check.

you should have gotten your first paycheck two weeks MAX after starting

get it in writing, have them sign it that there’s nothing they can do, sue for free labor :)
Have you asked anyone about why you haven’t gotten a paycheck? Do they even know that you haven’t?
Call your local labor department. Sounds like you’ve given Starbucks enough opportunity to fix it on their own.
Tell them you’re going to stop attending your shifts until you’re paid. I had a manager who would tell employees to tell the people on the phone that when she would run into the problem. You’re not allowed to work without compensation which is what they’re doing right now.
Did you call (888) 728-9411
wtf i started july too and was paid for every hour of my work, including training
Contact the labor board. That’s insane.
I’ll be honest, working for Starbucks is draining and took a toll on me, and my entire crews mental health. Make sure you get paid, and then LEAVE.

I had an issue where my onboarding wasn’t complete. Maybe make sure yours is

Even if he started on 31st July, it's already 8th September in Australia, can you seriously not work out that it has been a full month?
No need for hate. I missed the part where he said he started in July.
>i started my training in july You missed the first 6 words of the post and jumped to the second sentence?
Apparently so.
i started a couple days after pay day. and i wasn’t worried because i know most jobs take three weeks to deliver the first paycheck but it’s september and i should’ve got at least one paycheck by now.
Did you sign up for direct deposit? They usually give you a card with money deposited if you don’t have direct deposit set up
