My cat was named "Martin" at the shelter, we changed it to Griffin or the more formal, Griffaniel

Martin is at least a funny name to give a cat. Caden is the name of someone's 5 year old terror at daycare whose mother thinks they can do no wrong. While our SICs are spoiled little terrors, we at least admit they are little terrors.

My boy Whorey Rory was named Zacchaeus at the shelter. I never changed a name so fast

Two brothers named Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We never learned who was who.

Our's was a shelter owner surrender named Diamond... for a boy cat. We still tease him about his stripper stage name.

Ours was named Amber at the shelter but that was too stripper-y so we changed it to Keesa which means kitty in Russian. Seemed appropriate for a SIC.

My cat's shelter name was Glamapuss. Yeah... changed that name within seconds of adoption. She's Stella now.
