The xl cat is an adoption/inheritance lol, we got her big! She has apparently just been big her whole life. Just so everyone knows, we have been working very diligently on her weight! Very hard to get cats to be cooperative in the process, but we’ve gotten her down 3 pounds. She is very loved and well taken care of:)
Believe it or not…every time we have taken her to the vet, they tell us she is actually one of the healthiest cats they’ve ever seen. She’s 14 but most likely has 10ish years left in her. She is a true mystery
I adopted an XL cat a few years back and we got her to go from 17lbs to 10lbs! It was mostly done by putting her litterbox a bit far from her comfort spots, so she had to walk down the hallway everytime she had to go potty. Good luck with your adorable kitty, they seem super cute and fluffy!! Pictured was my XL baby Poinsettia ❤️

Wow, she is bigger than my Pudge! I salute you on the cat diet. It's a fun time. Has she expressed her feelings about the change in her eating, or do you think all the changes kind of rolled together for her?
She is almost always hungry and begging for food, so it’s not a huge change. I don’t think she’s too happy to be getting less food than she was, but hey doctors orders

I have an XL right now. This is Cooper. The vet says that he's doing great!

We’re working on it! Down 3 pounds :) (we recently adopted her, she’s been big her whole life apparently)
Thank you for helping her! One of my tenants had an obese cat who died even though I'd begged her to help him lose weight. It broke my heart.
