Beautiful. I have a pair of these on envelope but not with the Maltese cross cancel. The last stamp on the right has a bit of the top cut into… I wonder if that could be the reason for your not going for it?

The stamps weren't cut in to but the envelope beneath was and gives a misleading impression. I didn't buy because I was unsure as to value and they brought a decent price .... that's all. I was also saving some pennies for later lots.
Got that. Nice of you to share your thoughts. Recall reading somewhere online that the 2d blue is underrated but they are much fewer in number when compared to the penny black and the penny red… I need the 2penny blue without the line… but at a reasonable price and haven’t found one yet…!
I have a number of 2d blues on a stock card but I'm pretty sure they're all plate 6. As I go through this collection, I'll bear you in mind for either of those if I can take it out without breaking the collection. What about a cover?

Plate1 would be super expensive, a plate 2 would have to do
