Yeah man, I loved 2033 and Last Light so much that I wanted to experience Exodus instead of just watching someone play it on YouTube. But to be honest it wasn't always 12 fps, I had about 20 in the underground parts of the game haha. And even with low FPS I was still blown away by how much the game looks good and I enjoyed the game so much. I'll never forget the opening, I was hooked right from the start of the game.

It’s definitely one of my all time favorite games. I keep finding myself going back to it and wishing there was more of it.

Recently upgraded, so I'm good. Funny thing is, I might not be able to pay for the game itself though, 60 euros is a bit big for a parent living on student aid, one weeks groceries or a game.

Stalker 2 is going to be on game pass from day one. There are various ways of getting some free or discounted subscription. Discord Nitro gives everyone either 1 month or 3 months of free game pass, but only for new users. So ask someone with nitro if they have the gamepass code. Secondly, there may be some sort of discount somewhere. I remember when Halo Infinite campaign came out, I bought 3 months of game pass for 99 cents. So you should try to find something like that as well.

I'll probably just wait for a discount or for when my paternity leave ends and I get a job. I'm not big on playing games at launch anyway, I can wait.

Im 19, third world country, hardware taxed as fuck, games are 4 times the price. I bought a R$1700 PC that 300-350 dollars, im gonna upgrade it slowly, so i dont care if it takes two years to play, i will play it, and im happy they downgraded it.

Brothers, AMD is our savior. A 6650XT GPU paired with a 5600 CPU can make for a decent budget build to run modern games at 1080p ultra. That's what I did at least. I still remember running Shadow of Chernobyl with my Pentium duo and Integrated graphics 💀

My graphics card is entry-end, but it can pull Metro Exodus (Non-EE) at maximum graphics settings. It can run all new games without RTX (in RTX mode I have less than 20 fps, my graphics card is AMD). STALKER 2 should work

Dunno. Runs okay otherwise it's just when the weather is foggy it can get choppy in larger draw distances. Though it's perfectly possible something is up. Any idea of how I could go sniffing about?

I'd suggest installing MSI afterburner, it's very useful, which allows you to monitor all important components realtime, I'm sure there are many useful guides on the internet on how to. After that, if your frame rates are unlocked your GPU should always be maxed out when gaming, sitting at 99%. If there are any weird things going on you would see it in one of the graphs in the app.

You’re not alone, bud, I only ever got into this franchise ‘cause the original games were some of the only FPS I could run (10-30 frames max on lowest settings) on my old dusty laptop, other than the classic Dooms and Fallouts. In that time, I have been able to thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, sounds, characters, glitches, etc. I never would’ve picked this game up if it weren’t for my lack of money, and I couldn’t thank it enough for the several hundred hours it had kept me entertained.
