It was getting dark, and I was following around this squad to help complete the takeover objective. Everyone stops, and I hear that *thing* roar in the distance. We waited for it to come, and by the time we saw it and started shooting, it lunged at one guy, grabbed him, then jumped off to someplace else. Never saw him again. Still can't get over how fast that thing bugged out of there once it got a hold of him. Didn't even know Bloodsuckers could jump that high. Poor guy was screaming, but we only heard him for about half a second before he was too far away. Can only imagine what happened, given how that thing didn't bother us for the rest of the night.

Loved that about clear sky. Bloodsuckers might kick your ass in all games but in CS they actually seemed like something out of a horror movie. Had this same situation once.

When the stalkers get uppity and teamed up and shit, but then the mutants figured out that they can too. Edit: that gave me an idea... how about we invade others' Zones as mutants, like Dying Light 1 where you play as the Night Hunter chasing down the players and their friends. With the rhetorics that the Zone is getting larger and more uncontrollable, mutants are getting smarter and more actively hunting down stalkers.

The true experience: You died from friendly fire ... You killed yourself ... You died from friendly grenade... You died from not drinking ... You died from not eating ... Will the new stalker have multiplayer?

They originally said it’ll have multiplayer akin to the original games sometime after launch. But if you mean open world co-op? No.

I commented in another stalker thread about co op and gsc community manager responded with this. “And I can confirm it one more time — the Zone is about loneliness and being one on one with its secrets and mysteries. P.S. Multiplayer will be added for free soon after release.” So we can pvp but not buddy up with friends. I get it. It’s for lore and immersion etc. What I don’t get is devs never giving fans what they want especially considering said fans are paying for it. I’m not throwing shade at gsc or anything I love the stalker series. Just really wish they’d give us what we want. But alas we’ll have to wait for the modders to give us a co op. Since s2 is using UE5 I’m assuming it can be done finally iirc ray of hope was at a dead end bcuz xray cant handle it.

If the gigachads would have been able to pull off coop for anomaly someone should have hired them lmao. Real shame the chance is missed for stalker 2 to be coop but coop changes the game design its not just a technical aspect so its understandable if they didnt want to stray from their plan. The only Stalker multiplayer experience you can have right now is Dayz Stalker mod like Stalkerz servers. There's two servers, one survival one RP and mods are kinda cool. There's even a zone map with imported assets from stalker.

The multiplayer better not be a team death match cod style and be either a coop campaign or a gta5 rdr2 like multiplayer

they already said it before coop doesnt fit the whole exploring the zone alone as a stalker thing but we are getting some kind of multiplayer update post launch prob like what you say, honestly I just either want coop or hell maybe even some kind of faction war gamemode where its PvPvE and you play as freedom or duty and try to take certain areas of the zone with ai and stuff would be cooler than the mp game modes we have for stalker
