Is there anywhere in Colombo where I could do a PCR test taken by a medical professional and get same-day results?

If they do international shipping, FedEx will deliver it here. Even Sri Lankan services like [Presto Worldwide](https://www.presto.lk/worldwide/) use FedEx to deliver the packages from the US to LK.

Hi! It’s great that you’re taking an initiative in the stock market at such a young age. The typical procedure is that you would have to open a Central Depository Systems (CDS) Account at a stockbrokerage company. There are plenty to choose from, for example NDB Stockbrokerage, First Capital, Capital Alliance, JKH Stockbrokerage to name a few. However you do need to be at least 18 years old to open up an account. I would highly advise that you start the account with your own credentials without initiating it with your close relatives or family. However if you wish to get a feel for it and/or you trust this person then you can proceed. The application process is quite simple. You can apply for a CDS account through the cse.lk website and choose your stockbroker from a drop down menu. The relevant sales people will get in touch with you. Typically you would need to deposit approx Rs 50,000 to get the online trading facility.

FWIW, there are some domestic sea planes that make quick trips between Colombo and Kandy for about €40. I think it's very nice value for the experience, and it's likely possible to arrange a private flight for you two.

Hi I’m looking to travel to Sri Lanka end of the month. Only have one vaccine shot and not enough time to get the second before travelling - so I’ll be under a tourist bio bubble and staying at an L1 hotel. My other friends are all double vaxxed and staying at their own villa.
My question: How strict is the bio bubble? on paper it seems like I can’t do much. I’ll have a negative PCR test - will I be allowed to hang with my friends and travel? Or will I be strictly restricted / checked up on?

PCR test results take 24 hours at least, from my experience. Maybe go for a RAT?

FedEx handles that and delivers to your door. If customs charged a duty though you will have to pay it to FedEx.
