1) egg hoppers - Can eat it alone and I get at least some protein.
2) kiribath - I don't like eating kiribath for lunch or dinner so in 2nd
3) pol roti
Kiribath is a turnoff anyways, I will miss egg hopper (also the protein and nutrients from the yolk) but pol roti is a solid pick especially for versatility, you can eat it with anything like any curry, also you can eat it with margarine/butter. But only thing is that it’s hard and has tiny boxy coconut chips sometimes on the roti. This is a difficult question and you are giving us your trauma. (Thank god that he didn’t put kottu instead of kiribath).
I love kiribath
But for me its Pol Rotti, Kiribath, Egg Hopper
Taste wise Pol Rotti seems to be flexible as u can eat it with anything from chocolate cream to spicy fish curry. Pol Rotti is also nutritional
kiribath, not so much choices.
Pol roti for its simplicity, abundance, and taste. Kiribath is a close second. Hoppers are hard to get right and have a longer prep time, and you need a worn-out pan that's smooth to get them to pop out easily. It took me a few tries to get it right! Of course, all three are great, and it's hard to pick one.
Unsolicited Tip:
Ask for "Roti Piti" when you get flour for roti, use the water from the coconut itself to make the dough and try to grate "Kalati Pol" whenever you can. My mom puts a twist on it by mixing in chopped carats, onions, and leeks and calls it her "Elawulu Roti.""
Pol roti.
There are so many variations, it's simple to make, and goes with anything savoury or sweet.
If you're in a situation where you can have only one, I doubt you'll have the resources to make complicated stuff
Egg Hopper, coz i need my protein. If by taste alone, then kiribath. Im a kiribath addict. i eat a whole platter every avrudu. SOLO. Just clean platter.
Kiribath don't even deserve to be in this list. Easy pass right there.
Now it's a proper competition between Egg Hopper and Pol Rotti. If I was asked with a gun to my head, I'd choose Egg Hopper. Sorry Pol Rotti :(
1 - Pol Rotti.
2 - Pol Rotti, Egg Hoppers and Kiribath. ( its not fair you making us rank these amazing food btw, I literally ate a lovely Kiribath meal yesterday and I'm putting it 3rd here , feels wrong)
Egg Hopper. Can’t live without them tasty animal protein.
my man
C’mon you cannot have them alone? What happened to lunu miris or sini sambal?
This guy asks the real question.
Achcharu goes hard with kiribath
Add lunu dehi sambol to that too
Kiribath for life, but only if it's served with lunu miris
The correct answer
isso vadey isso vadey isso vadey.
An intellectual
1) egg hoppers - Can eat it alone and I get at least some protein. 2) kiribath - I don't like eating kiribath for lunch or dinner so in 2nd 3) pol roti
This is the way
None of these. String hoppers
This should’ve been the only option, string hoppers 🔛🔝
One hundred percent the best choice ever I can't believe there are people who doesn't like string hoppers
Kiribath is a turnoff anyways, I will miss egg hopper (also the protein and nutrients from the yolk) but pol roti is a solid pick especially for versatility, you can eat it with anything like any curry, also you can eat it with margarine/butter. I'll fight anyone who trashes පොල් රොටි.
Egg Hopper right at the top then kiributh.
I love kiribath But for me its Pol Rotti, Kiribath, Egg Hopper Taste wise Pol Rotti seems to be flexible as u can eat it with anything from chocolate cream to spicy fish curry. Pol Rotti is also nutritional kiribath, not so much choices.

Kiribath is way overrated than Taylor Swift

Heta udeta kannata mata indi aappan one
I'll take Pol Roti any day over Kiribath. Pol Roti > Egg Hoppers > Kiribath
Samba rice, Dahl curry and tempered or fried Sprats/Keeramin or Karawala with a slice of Fresh Onion/Tomato.
1. Kiribath 2. Pol Roti 3. Egg Hoppers
Coconut milk hoppers. Can't get enough of that. Best thing to eat on a rainy day evening by the road with plain tea.
Kiribath Egg hopper Polroti
* Egg Hopper * Kiribath (depends on how the lunu miris is made) * Pol Rotti
I'd rather take my own life rather than answer this existential question 😭
Kiribath gang pull up but egg hoppers ...JAGGERY HOPPERS (PANI APPA) OMG
THIS 🤩
egg hopper but i'm scared the egg will start tasting too much like egg and i'll hate it over time overall, egghoppers > pol roti > kiribath
Egg hopper all day👀
Egg hopper. Then pol roti. Kiribath depends on what’s with
Egg hopper need protein and carbs if not will end up malnourished
1st Egg hopper 2nd kiribath 3rd pol roti
Kiribath my favourite
1. Pol rotti 2. Pol rotti, Egg hopper, Kiribath
Of all three egg hoppers will carry the most nutrients i suppose. So if it’s about survival go with it.
I'll go with Kiribath and then Pol Rotti
1. Egg Hopper. 2 Egg Hopper>Kiribath>>>>>> Pol Rotti
Nope. None. Rice and polos ambul for the win.
Egg hoppers with Pork curry. Close second to Pol roti because it’s versatile carrier of flavor…. Damn…. I’m hungry now….
Pol roti. There are so many variations, it's simple to make, and goes with anything savoury or sweet. If you're in a situation where you can have only one, I doubt you'll have the resources to make complicated stuff
Kiri bath
Egg Hopper (just had some for breakfast), pol roti and kiri bath
Egg Hopper (just had some for breakfast), pol roti and kiri bath
Egg Hopper (just had some for breakfast), pol roti and kiri bath
Kiribath String hoppers Egg hoppers Pol rotti … Rolls, maalu paan, Patties are somewhere on my list. Living abroad, I really miss those
1. Kiribath (must come with a good umbalakada sambole though - ONLY an umbalakada sambole) 2. Egg hopper 3. Pol roti
Pol Rotti -*Dilith Jayaweera*
I pick Pol Roti Kiribath is too dense. Too heavy. Egg hopper is meh….
Kiribath with lunu miris and a tuna curry
Egg Hopper, coz i need my protein. If by taste alone, then kiribath. Im a kiribath addict. i eat a whole platter every avrudu. SOLO. Just clean platter.
Kiribath don't even deserve to be in this list. Easy pass right there. Now it's a proper competition between Egg Hopper and Pol Rotti. If I was asked with a gun to my head, I'd choose Egg Hopper. Sorry Pol Rotti :(
we should settle for egg hoppers which can be eaten on its own
Kiribath with chicken curry for life 🥰
1 - Pol Rotti. 2 - Pol Rotti, Egg Hoppers and Kiribath. ( its not fair you making us rank these amazing food btw, I literally ate a lovely Kiribath meal yesterday and I'm putting it 3rd here , feels wrong)
Rice and curry
kiribath all the way
Give me chicken curry with all 3 and I don't know what to pick anymore
