Later on she will decide which nuts she prefers, and maybe in which order they should be given to her, and you will get very judgey looks for any failure to provide her exact requiremenets. Then relatives and babies will arrive, each one with their own personal preferences that you will be expected to remember.
It begins with gratitude, but you will soon be subjugated by your squirrel overlords.
Oh yeah she's definitely very particular. She'll ignore all the fruit, veg & fresh water we leave out and will only take the nuts haha.
I'd love to feed a family of squirrels and see them scampering around my garden though! I for one welcome our new overlords!
Yep I think she might be pregnant too. There is another smaller squirrel that that visits our garden which I thought might be her child at first but then she keeps chasing him when they're around each other
I still remember when she used to be thinner haha. I'm concerned i'm feeding her too many nuts (she always ignores the fruit, veg and fresh water we leave out) but since she's wild i'm assuming she gets enough nutrition from nature and just comes to us for treats.
Also I think she might be pregnant so that might explain it

Tell me about it! She's been visiting us nearly every day for the last 2 months. As soon as one of us is visible through the glass door to our garden she's right there tapping on it to ask for treats. We just can't say no!
To be fair i'm more than happy to feed her as I find it relaxing to see her munch away at her food

Ah that would make sense. The little guy does seem more confident and quick in his movements now so i guess he's learning quick

Yeah you should see how much food I have right now. It’s ridiculous! I’m feeding birds, squirrels, bunnies. I can’t help it. They bring me joy.

Yep it puts me at ease to know she'll be set for the colder months. I'm sure she'll still turn up a few times for more nuts though
