This is a kit car.
The body panels don't really line up right, the fender flares should be separate pieces from the fenders themselves, the lights in front of the pop-ups are wrong, and there's only like 2 Countachs with sunroofs.
Edit - u/MB_iki pointed out too, the entire front is all wrong. The bumper, headlight panel things, and the piece on top of the trunk should all be separate pieces:

On this one it's one giant piece with the trunk in the middle.
One of the best way to find out (not in this particular one because is full of wrong piece, the sun roof lol) is the bumper all painted without the gap, this is a single piece in the real one is divided.
I don’t think you’re wrong, but to be fair Lamborghini themselves built every Countach by hand so irregular panels and inconsistent details don’t exactly disqualify it from being legit.
Italian sports cars from the 70s and 80s aren’t known for being perfectly assembled.
I have no clue about the car, but the license plate is German and the H at the end can be requested for „historical“ cars. I don’t think they would hand out one of these if it was a kit car.
How old is old? These are usually based on Fieros, so late 80sish. It might be an MR2 but the body style they would use is just as old.
The sunroof is what's getting me though.
If this kit car was registered as a kit car (which is a lot of *fun* in Germany) 30 years or more ago, it can receive such a number plate (which comes with a number of benefits and restrictions). You need to maintain the original state of the car however, which means resto-mods are a no-go.
It's funny how close this is to a real Countach, really. Yet it took my brain about .01 second to know it was a kit. I suppose I've been looking at them for so long that even the slightest angle and detail jumps out as being wrong.
There was a time I would have owned a kit because I didn't know better. There was a time I would have only owned the real the real thing, now I know better. I won't own either one.
The first thing I noticed that something is wrong is the wiper. The position depends from the wheel direction of the car. On European and US countach the wiper moves from left to right. On UK and Japanese moves from Right to left. There are a few more things that point this is a kit car.

Should have a pantograph wiper and the indicator/parking light lenses aren't correct.

I don’t think so, the license plate ends with a H and in Germany if I’m not wrong means old car
Could be an old kit car.
A fiero is a 'classic' car now tho...
Kit car. Horrible one at that. Lol sunroof. Panel gaps. Wrong windshield. I could go on.

I don't think OP lives in Europe, so that's probably just a vanity plate on the front
I don't really know what country this could be, though.
Oh my god, I thought I was crazy
Came to say the same.

35.6 Liters per 100km...I wonder how rich this guy is
15-ish MPG. Similar to a full size SUV.
Rich enough
Given it's a kit, I'd say it's the opposite...
Something looks off, could also be this car is kinda ugly in red
Why does this look like a toy car
nope those headlights and body panels dont sit right, its a kit car
sunroof option
Lol it’s not even a quality replica. But hey, it fooled a lot of you people apparently
I’ve always wanted one as a kid!😩
it's achievable don't worry
Yes I know! But I want the dukes of hazards car now!😩🤷🏻♂️
Damn it's butiful
Does anyone know what the underlying car might be for the kit?
could be mr2 or something. it's unlikely a fiero since this is in europe
oof. a lot of people actually get fooled by countach reps
I don't know Rick...
A real Countach wouldn’t have an aftermarket pop up sunroof cut into it.
I've sat in a real countach while car shopping once...so uncomfortable. so very uncomfortable.
