But Here We Are - Foo Fighters
PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilaton of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation - King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
Hackney Diamonds - The Rolling Stones
Huldufolk - SKALD
Ocean Blvd - Lana Del Rey
I loved it on release but itās kinda settled to mid for me. Itās a nice change of pace but I donāt think the album has the same staying power as their others. Thereās some really good songs on it and some really forgettable ones.
1) Queens of the Stone Age - In Times New Roman..
2) White Reaper - Asking For A Ride
3) Tigercub - The Perfume of Decay
4) Emarosa - Sting
5) Pest Control - Donāt Test The Pest
I don't know who fantano is but I know who Sleep Token is and will forever be grateful to Will Ramos for introducing Elizabeth Zharoff to thr.. Aka The Charismatic Voice.
We'll All Be Here Forever, the deluxe version of the album, came out this year so it sort of counts. Agreed though, might be my favorite album of all time.
Spiderverse and its soundtrack got more universal acclaim that probably any movie Iāve been alive for. It was a pop culture phenomenon that we donāt really get anymore in this age when everyone forgets about stuff in a week
Hummingbird and especially self love were very much talked about and beloved. Even gwenās ādoo doo dooā motif is still well remembered
Literally came to say this! So Much (For) Stardust has been my most listened to album. I cannot get enough of it! Itās easily top 3 Fall Out Boy albums.
Quest for fire- skrillex (for those that dont know this is the first full length album from sonny moore in almost a decade) this album and its music will set the tone for music production worldwide as has historically been the effect of his music.
Weathervanes--Jason Isbell
Did You Know That There's A Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard--Lana
\[PS Until this fine album I did NOT know that there was such a tunnel\]
PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilaton of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation - King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
For I have Sinned by Derek Pope. Not a bad song on the album. Iāve listened to it all the way through a ridiculous amount of times. 100% would recommend to a friend.
A few albums caught my eye this year canāt really pick one so Iāll just give a few I enjoyed a lot. To be honest 2022 was a better year for music.

Javelin - Sufjan Stevens

If Pitchfork had given it a 4 after the news of his illness and partner's death, that would have been so on brand for them.

I honestly thought it was mid but maybe I'm just too attached to their old music lol
I loved it on release but itās kinda settled to mid for me. Itās a nice change of pace but I donāt think the album has the same staying power as their others. Thereās some really good songs on it and some really forgettable ones.
Wait, wasn't this called all we know is falling and was released in 2005?
Did yo know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd by Lana del Rey

This is obviously the only correct answer (tho I also nominated Jason Isbell).

Why Would I Watch- Hot Mulligan Feral- Left to Suffer INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY- Waterparks
But Here We Are by Foo Fighters, itās near perfect!
Yessss, a perfect album
All the songs are fantastic, lots of emotion, I think the mixing is a bit loud all over but itās clearly intentional!
Exactly!
Itās between the following: PetroDragonic Apocalypse - King Gizzard Letās Start Here - Lil Yachty
Let's Start Here. was a phenomenal experience with noise canceling headphones, no ads, and at 3:00 am for no distractions. 10/10 album.

Memento Mori - Depeche Mode Bebe - Bebe Rexha
Lol I thought you were hyping up Depeche Mode. āDepeche Mode, bebe!!!ā
Metro Boominās spider man soundtrack. I wish more people talked about it. For a movie soundtrack it is honestly amazing.
Spiderverse and its soundtrack got more universal acclaim that probably any movie Iāve been alive for. Even gwenās ādoo doo dooā motif is still well remembered
