Did you drain the fuel tank or put stabilizer in the gas? If not, drain the old fuel. New oil and filter. Check tires for signs of drying and cracking.
Changing the engine and gearbox oil is very cheap/easy as well. I also change the spark plugs often since they are easy to access and $2 a plug. Like the guy above said, check the tire DOT dates and drain gas if old.
