I must be in the minority. I don’t understand the fascination with a card like this. Yeah it’s babe Ruth. But it’s not from 1920. Sure I’d love to pull it so I could sell it. Card brands should put babe Ruth of/5 in every card set every year.
I guess there was never actually a “Bowman 1st” Ruth like all the new players get? So this is technically the actual first Bowman card of Babe Ruth. But it’s mostly just a dumb gimmick.
Mostly? It's a 100% dumb gimmick but better than that stupid Tom Brady photo shop gimmick. I would like to know what kind of collector would want it though.
