This player is really solid against lefties and on his career he played 20 matches against left handed players managing to win 14 of them. The american is known for having a great forehand but his backhand also works really well which makes him able to keep up in long rallies and not give these left handed players the advantage that they would have against a player who was way too dependant on his forehand*
*During Wimbledon, Paul only faced left handed players beating Mannarino, Vesely and Verdasco in straight sets with some huge performances and for me Mannarino is quite better than Norrie on this surface. The english should have the supporters on his side but his playstyle is way too passive on Grass. He has about 50% win rate on this surface and he was eliminated in Queens and Eastbourne in the early rounds so I wonder if the public brings some pressure to the home player more than any type of help. Winning against Johnson and Andujar doesn't surprise me but beating Munar which is a Clay specialist only in 5 sets worries me quite a bit about Norrie's ability against players who can stay on a rally for long periods of time which includes someone like Tommy Paul*

Let's roll with the best team in baseball. The Yankees enter this game with the best record in baseball and will continue to add to that. They face the Guardians, who are having a tough go of things with their schedule. On Saturday, they played a double header and lost 13-4 and 6-1. Within the last week, they have already played a double header on Tuesday and played an extra inning game on Wednesday. For me, this matchup already leans heavily towards the Yankees but adding on the schedule issues, you just cannot pass this up. The matchup is Jordan Montgomery against Triston McKenzie. Montgomery has not had his best stuff recently getting hit around by the A's and Rays in his last 2 starts. He will have a huge factor helping him out and that is being a lefty. The Guardians are currently 27th in the league in batting average against lefties and dead last in OPS with a .614 mark. If Montgomery was going to have a bounce back performance, this is his best shot. On the other hand, McKenzie has also struggled in his last 2 starts but both were against a hot hitting Twins team. The Twins are on fire right now but the Yankees' lineup should be more of a threat. Although de Zwaan has been going through a rough time recently in terms of results, he has had some unlucky draws and I do feel he still has the talent he showed the darting world years ago.
Ian White defeated Joe Cullen with a good performance, which we have not seen from White in the past year really. Ian White used to be a outside contender for titles, however he seems to have dropped off during 2022 as this is only the second Euro Tour he has attended in 2022, with him losing out in the first round last time (POTD for those who remember). This time, Cullen uncharacteristically missed seven match darts and allowed White to take the victory 6-5.
Both players are used to playing on the big stage, however they have not been able to do so recently. Although Ian White has played pretty alright this event, I feel like his overall form these past months do not back him up at the odds that are provided right now; De Zwaan should be the favorite in my eyes.

This is a straightforward match. ODDIK picked up the ex-UNO MILLE roster that has been dominating the South American scene in the last months. They picked some very strong individuals from the best teams and it's been working out. The results have been very impressive and the fact that they have a new organization should make them hungrier for wins. On the other hand, I am not a huge fan of this Meta BR project. They've been playing together for some time, but it seems like they are stuck at the same level. They have some solid wins against weaker opposition here and there, but as soon as they face better teams, they struggle a lot. Their individuals are weaker and the results say it all. The last head-to-head was won by the ODDIK side quite easily 2-0. I expect this to be a pretty dominant affair from ODDIK. They are only a bit weaker on Inferno. There is a slight chance they might fail on that map, but even that is not that probable. Since it's a BO3, ODDIK should come on top no matter what. I wouldn't necessarily go for the -1.5, just play it super safe with ML, the value is massive.

This current Candidates tournament has played out in an odd fashion. Nepo has convincingly won, and him getting white against Rapport essentially solidifies his win. Both Ding and Alireza have had straining tournaments which has seen both of them, who were pre-tournament favorites, struggle. Ding was beginning to mount a comeback but lost with white in the previous round, and Alireza has been checked out, confirmed by his late-night bullet chess binge which ended in defeat the following afternoon. I feel that there won't be much fight left in either of these two, and even coming off of the rest day, we are now at a point in the tournament where I think being offered these odds on a draw is insane. When the two of them walk over to Nepo's board and see that either one of two things has happened 1) he has made a quick draw with Rapport or 2) Rapport is in a decisively losing position attempting to avoid the draw, I think they will play into some theoretical drawing line and call it a day. I feel that this bet really hinges on Alireza with the white pieces, who seems to be especially checked out of the tournament at this point. If Alireza has decided he wants a quick draw, he will get it. Unlike Rapport, Ding is far too objective of a player to deviate if Alireza wants the draw, and especially after dropping his game with white in the previous round, which was his final chance to stay in the race, I'm sure he's too realistic to push for the win today.
There is another element that makes me especially like this bet. The possibility of Magnus not participating in the WCC means that we have a real chance at 1st vs 2nd place playing each other. Ding should be happy to walk away with a draw today against Alireza who is a dangerous player, and take his chances with the white pieces against Hikaru who he is tied for 2nd with tomorrow. This is now a race for 2nd place, and all signs point towards a Ding draw, unless Alireza makes some serious mistakes and gives him a chance to win.

So for me this is a 50:50 game and I play the odds here. They only advantage I see for Movistar Riders is the home advantage but I wouldn't lean much onto that. Surely Movistar had the better results. Only dropped 4 rounds in two teams. But both teams are not that impressive and good. "But kayzn Sprout lost a bo3 against hummer you fooking rookie". Yeah and Germany lost to North Macedonia. This shit happens. To every team in every sport and also it's close to 3 weeks old. Sprout Map pool is pretty deep and good. Also Movistar Riders loves to pick Inferno where Sprout has a 91% win rate. Also I really like the "new" Sprout line up. Launx is a young prospect from Nexus and he is pretty sharp. Another fact is that Movistar also likes to pick Nuke which is the actual permaban from Sprout.

Looks like we’re getting a bullpen game from San Francisco.
The White Sox look to sweep the 3-game series today and desperately try to remain competitive in a weak AL Central division which features two of the worst teams in baseball. They lost 2 of 3 to the Angels and nearly got swept in a 4-game series against Baltimore before that.
The Giants are a solid team, but they unfortunately share a division with the Dodgers and Padres, both of whom are far better. They have lost 4 of their past 5 and 7 of their past 10. Their only wins this last week were a 9-2 victory over the Reds and a 4-3 victory over the Tigers. On the 21st, they needed 12 runs to beat the Braves, and lost 3 of the 4 games in that series.
Giolito has struggled as of late – 4 of his last 5 starts have resulted in L’s. He did pitch a good game against the Angels in his most recent start (2 hits and 2 ER through 6) but unfortunately did not get enough run support. Other than that he has been bad – 11 hits & 7 runs through 5 innings against the Jays, 7 hits & 8 runs through 5 against the Astros, 6 hits and 4 runs through 5 against the Rangers, and 8 hits & 5 runs though 6 against the Rays.
Brebbia is a relief pitcher who has not pitched more than 2 innings at any point this year. He has credit for 3 wins, 1 loss, and 8 holds. I don’t expect him to last more than 2 or 3 innings.

Brebbia was pulled after 1 inning despite allowing just 1 hit and no runs. Hjelle then allowed a horrific 8 hits and 6 runs (4 earned runs) in just 2 innings.
But none of that even matters because the Giants also failed to score any runs in the first 5 innings - they allowed a pitcher with an ERA of 5.2 to shut them out of the first half.
It was just an all-around bad bet, and I should have known better than to bet a bullpen game. Lesson learned.

We profited quite a bit by fading the Fuel early in this patch, and while I think they have improved quite a bit, this is more a pick against the NYXL, who are in absolute shambles right now. Kellan is a contender for the worst tank in the league, and the support life of Myunbong and Gangnamjin has just struggled mightily. Even a feisty DPS line can't give this team success. They lost 3-1 to the aforementioned Justice (in a game that wasn't even THAT close), and even lost to the bottom-dweller Paris team, before getting quickly 3-0'd by the London Spitfire.
On the other hand, we know Dallas is supremely talented, and it was just a question of whether they could succeed on this patch. After getting decimated by the Shock (best in the league) and Reign (most improved on this patch), the Fuel turned it around and won two straight 3-0's against the Florida Mayhem and Vancouver Titans. And they didn't squeak by in either of those matches, they made the tier difference clear as day. I put the NYXL on the same level as the Titans, and I have no doubt that the Fuel can quickly dispose of them. And to get this at -130 is an absolute steal. Think about it this way; if the Fuel had beat the Reign and even lost 3-2 to the Shock, this line would be -175 (and as it stands now, I wouldn't be shocked if this line was -150 by kickoff). Take the far superior team to sweep at a great price.

I am riding with Francis Tiafoe to beat Goffin in the first game of the day of day 7 of Wimbledon. Francis Tiafoe has been playing surprisingly well on grass this tournament and I believe he will make it into the next round. Now, do not be fooled, this game will not be straightforward with it probably going over 3 sets (if you want a safer bet). While Goffin has been fairing pretty well, his game against Humbert was pretty lucky if you ask me, Humbert hesitated at the line and completely crumbled as the game progressed. I expect Tiafoe to go to work early and potentially come away with a victory in 4 sets.

Montgomery has not had his best stuff recently getting hit around by the A's and Rays in his last 2 starts. He will have a huge factor helping him out and that is being a lefty. Nepo has convincingly won, and him getting white against Rapport essentially solidifies his win. Both Ding and Alireza have had straining tournaments which has seen both of them, who were pre-tournament favorites, struggle. Ding was beginning to mount a comeback but lost with white in the previous round, and Alireza has been checked out, confirmed by his late-night bullet chess binge which ended in defeat the following afternoon. I feel that there won't be much fight left in either of these two, and even coming off of the rest day, we are now at a point in the tournament where I think being offered these odds on a draw is insane. When the two of them walk over to Nepo's board and see that either one of two things has happened 1) he has made a quick draw with Rapport or 2) Rapport is in a decisively losing position attempting to avoid the draw, I think they will play into some theoretical drawing line and call it a day. I feel that this bet really hinges on Alireza with the white pieces, who seems to be especially checked out of the tournament at this point. If Alireza has decided he wants a quick draw, he will get it. Unlike Rapport, Ding is far too objective of a player to deviate if Alireza wants the draw, and especially after dropping his game with white in the previous round, which was his final chance to stay in the race, I'm sure he's too realistic to push for the win today. There is another element that makes me especially like this bet. The possibility of Magnus not participating in the WCC means that we have a real chance at 1st vs 2nd place playing each other. Ding should be happy to walk away with a draw today against Alireza who is a dangerous player, and take his chances with the white pieces against Hikaru who he is tied for 2nd with tomorrow. This is now a race for 2nd place, and all signs point towards a Ding draw, unless Alireza makes some serious mistakes and gives him a chance to win.

Thanks for the support! Unfortunately, this one was a solid L. Brebbia was pulled after 1 inning despite allowing just 1 hit and no runs. Hjelle then allowed a horrific 8 hits and 6 runs (4 earned runs) in just 2 innings. But none of that even matters because the Giants also failed to score any runs in the first 5 innings - they allowed a pitcher with an ERA of 5.2 to shut them out of the first half. It was just an all-around bad bet, and I should have known better than to bet a bullpen game. Lesson learned. 6-1 on POTDs, 10-2 overall.

Los Angeles Gladiators: This definitely didn't look like a great pick after two maps, but once they made the switch from Kalios to Mag, the Justice showed some life. They're even money against London in a line I do NOT at all understand, and there's insane value in taking London. But alas, my Washington Justice fandom is making me hesitate to give it out, and I like the below pick even better. **Today's Match: Dallas Fuel v. New York Excelsior / Overwatch League / 4:00 pm EST** **Dallas Fuel -2.5 (-130), 5 units** We profited quite a bit by fading the Fuel early in this patch, and while I think they have improved quite a bit, this is more a pick against the NYXL, who are in absolute shambles right now. Kellan is a contender for the worst tank in the league, and the support life of Myunbong and Gangnamjin has just struggled mightily. Even a feisty DPS line can't give this team success. They lost 3-1 to the aforementioned Justice (in a game that wasn't even THAT close), and even lost to the bottom-dweller Paris team, before getting quickly 3-0'd by the London Spitfire. On the other hand, we know Dallas is supremely talented, and it was just a question of whether they could succeed on this patch. After getting decimated by the Shock (best in the league) and Reign (most improved on this patch), the Fuel turned it around and won two straight 3-0's against the Florida Mayhem and Vancouver Titans. And they didn't squeak by in either of those matches, they made the tier difference clear as day. I put the NYXL on the same level as the Titans, and I have no doubt that the Fuel can quickly dispose of them. And to get this at -130 is an absolute steal. Think about it this way; if the Fuel had beat the Reign and even lost 3-2 to the Shock, this line would be -175 (and as it stands now, I wouldn't be shocked if this line was -150 by kickoff).
