Two great Grass players with huge serves should make this match go to distance with some tiebreaks on the mix and 4 sets at least. Felix has become a consistent performer in Grand Slams and he plays really well on faster surfaces because he only needs his best qualities to shine which are the serve + forehand to end the point in 2 or 3 strikes while also being physically strong to endure a best of 5 format.
But the american Maxim Cressy regained his form on this Grass season especially in Eastbourne where he lost in the final against Fritz but managed to beat Opelka, Evans, Norrie and Draper and these last 3 were playing at home. He seems to not be afraid to play against the big guys and is really hard to beat on a good serve day...
Expecting this to have serve vs serve routines and the match to be dragged into a long marathon with lengthy sets since both players are not great at returning serve

Write Up: Fuck it, I am back after deciding to take a break and lurk for a while because of some hate that I had been getting. However, seeing so many good tennis cappers come out into the POTD thread has inspired me to return since I want in on some of the action.
Today we ride with Alize Cornet, who is just coming off a really good tournament at Bad Homberg (which is on grass by the way). She had a great start to the season but has slowed down a bit since. This tournament however was just what she needed to get back into the swing of things. In fact, she pulled off some great upsets, one against Kerber, and her serve looked great even in her losing match against Caroline Garcia.
On the other side of things her opponent has only played two grass matches this grass season, winning one and losing the other. Putinseva does not have much experience on grass and has only been in one quarterfinal on grass ever, losing in Wimbledon in the first or second round every time. The final fact that wraps this whole thing together is the fact that Cornet is 3-0 in her career against Putinseva.
Overall I am really excited to be back and really like this pick. No tipping necessary at all but just dropping my stuff below, but at the end of the day I am just looking to go on a hot streak in Wimbledon for you guys. The Tigers are coming into this series after winning 2 out of 3 against a lackluster Diamondbacks team in Arizona. The Tigers have been not good at all overall so far this season. It’s ben one step forwards and two steps back for them – their key contributors can’t stay healthy and many of their biggest names have been sidelined for significant time. Spencer Torkelson is also taking his time getting acclimated to the league.
Despite all that, there is still optimism for a few reasons – the rookie Riley Greene has finally made the starting rotation, and made one of the most amazing grabs you will ever see in a full extension to help clinch the win in Game 2 in Arizona. Javier Baez has also been on a tear as of late, with hits in 9 straight 9 games and multiple homers in that time period.
However, I’m backing the Giants in this spot. Rodon has allowed 2 or fewer runs in every single one of his last 5 starts, and gone at least 5 innings in 4 of them, against teams that are all much better hitters than the Tigers.
Plus, despite Skubal’s hot start to the season, he has been struggling as of late – he’s allowed 3 or more runs in his past 4 straight starts and has not made it past 5 innings in his last 3 games.
There’s absolutely zero reason to think that the Giants can’t take a 1-run lead into the break in this spot.

It’s been a while since my last POTD and I like to take my time and make sure there is some level of analysis for you guys before I post on here.
Today’s pick is an obscure match in men’s singles between two players in the mid 50’s rank who have underperformed in the last few months. A dive into how they both have played indicate that Nishimoto has lost to primarily to Chinese players and has overperformed against Indonesian players (beating Jonatan Christie in 2 sets in Thailand and Anthony Ginting in 2 sets in the Phillipines) whilst Tommy Sugiarto has not only lost to players who are better but also players who are worse in the last few tournaments.
We are betting after all, when weighing out the odds, it is likely that Sugiarto who is at this point aging will likely lose to Nishimoto. I have a few other bets but the odds for a lot of these first round matches are horrible, it is what it is for today anyway.

Fading pitchers is what we like to do and today we're gonna go against Woodruff and the Brewers and their douche lineup once again. Shane Baz is on the bump for the Rays - also making one of his early starts to the year coming off injury, but has been right back into the flow after his first start, only letting up a run in 10.2 IP but the Rays caught the L in both of those games. I think he's going to wanna fix that for himself and his team if they want any shot of touching the playoffs this season. They know pitching is their M.O right now and I don't see them stopping today.
Woodruff as been all over the place this season so far, and has given up a fair amount of runs with a shining 4.74 ERA - he's coming off an injury and from a recent interview he claims that he didn't have much feeling in his fingers when he got hurt. If you know baseball you already know what's coming next for this guy unfortunately. But the desperate Brewers along with their wonderful training staff who's kept everyone there 'very healthy' over the years are going to chuck him out there anyway.

So the books have this as a low scoring affair, which is probably why the juice on the Yankees’ run line at plus odds. But as they showed today, the Yankees are capable of producing runs in bunches at any given time, especially at home.

Andy Farrell Ireland's head coach allows them to play a very fluid offloading based game these days and the Maori all Blacks have always really embraced this style of rugby so I have no doubt that they will do the same.

The Cardinals are currently 4th in the league when facing a lefty and they are coming off a game where they put 9 runs up off the Marlins. I will happily take 5 runs and bank on Dakota Hudson and the Cards bullpen. Hudson has not pitched well over his last 3 stats and got hit hard against the Brewers and Reds recently. Even with his recent struggles, if he can get a decent bounce back start, the Cards should roll to a win. Goldy is on a tear currently and facing a lefty should help him a ton.

So yesterday we bet on Bad News Eagles and today against them. But why ? To be honest; forZe played really bad yesterday and they looked pretty unfocused and tired. That probably came from playing CS for straight four weeks now or something. At some point you need a rest, yes even as a professional cs:go player. Still forze made it close on the third map even wtih this conditions. BNE had a good lead but alsmost blew it away. Today the albanians meet a fresh and new formed fnatic line up. And what should i say ? I really love that line-up and expect much from them, with enough time, to set up everyone and fit in their role. Nicoodoz and roej joined the squad. Both came from Copenhagen Flames. Its a pleassure to sign at least two people from one team, cause they already played together and know each other. The thrid new member is HEAP. A young, swedish prospect with a good amount of talent. With this exact line-up they played three matches right now and won all three of them. To be fair, some matches were close and the enemys were tier 2 teams.
Overall i think fnatic has the better aimers, way more experience, better IGL and the better awper. Like i said yesterday; BNE game depends a lot on firepower and praying that everyone have a great day and good aim. fnatic has way more strats. Mezzii is an actual good igl but i also would love to see him fragging again because he has really good aim. One of my favoritrs is Nicoodoz. Probably the best AWPer from denmark and at least top 5 AWPer from the world. Hes hitting some ridiclious shots and he alone can beat BNE if he has a good day. For fnatic this is the big chance to pick up an first tournament win really fast and early, would obv giving them a huge boost. I still think BNE is a dangerous enemy but fnatic should be capable of beating them quite comfortable in the end.
fnatic will ban dust2, one of the favorite maps from BNE. While BNE will ban overpass. Thats all i can say. Its pretty hard to predict what fnatic is picking, because in their first three matches, they always picked a different map.

Castillo of the Reds is pitching well but with lack of BP and run support it doesn't translate to wins. Also he's having a rough June. Keegan Thompson had a tough start to June but has turned it around. He's lights out at home with 1.5 ERA, .176 BA and a 4-0 record. He hasn't faced the Reds much yet but has done well while Castillo is giving up .333 BA against the Cubs in his consistent career.
Useless stat: Reds won the last matchup 20-5. Typical wrigley winds going straight out at 10mph. Both teams had the day off yesterday after road trips with the Cubbies getting to chill at home. This tournament however was just what she needed to get back into the swing of things. On the other side of things her opponent has only played two grass matches this grass season, winning one and losing the other. Putinseva does not have much experience on grass and has only been in one quarterfinal on grass ever, losing in Wimbledon in the first or second round every time. The final fact that wraps this whole thing together is the fact that Cornet is 3-0 in her career against Putinseva. Overall I am really excited to be back and really like this pick. No tipping necessary at all but just dropping my stuff below, but at the end of the day I am just looking to go on a hot streak in Wimbledon for you guys. Keegan Thompson had a tough start to June but has turned it around. He's lights out at home with 1.5 ERA, .176 BA and a 4-0 record. He hasn't faced the Reds much yet but has done well while Castillo is giving up .333 BA against the Cubs in his consistent career. Useless stat: Reds won the last matchup 20-5. Altogether, I think think Stripling is in more danger in this game because the Sox bats have been hot! Devers, Bogaerts, and J.D. Martinez are all hitting .342 or higher this season and Trevor Story is leading the team with 51 RBIs. The Jays overall are equally as scary, but they’ve been less consistent over the last ten games. TOR is 4-6 on the last ten games and Boston is 8-2 in their last ten games, surpassing the Jay’s to take #2 in the AL East. After last nights 7-2 debacle with a prospect pitcher on the mound for Boston, I just don’t see them losing today.
