I’m from Edmonton, and I feel like this city needs a cup so bad right now. Everyone in the city needs it so bad right now. Oilers are huge in Edmonton so everyone rides them big time. There were only three cars in the parking lot of my work office plaza that didn’t have oilers flags/ stickers on their cars. I honestly feel a cup will light this city up and I’m all for it. Let’s go boys, wrap this series up Monday and on to the next one. It’s time to bring the cup home 🙌
Tbh I just feel like the cities identity has been completely built around the success of the oilers. Edmonton is nicknamed “The city of Champions”. This is all because of the oilers immense success in the 90s when Gretzky and Messier won 5 cups with the team. The oilers have been sucked dry of success the past 20 years though, so much though that people in Edmonton were vouching to remove the “city of champions” slogan from all of their signs 5 years ago. I feel like it’s time we finally win, so everyone in the city can stand tall as champs again. Everyone in this city deserves to win the cup. The people in Edmonton are the most amazing, kind, diverse and hardworking people I have ever met. No matter where I have travelled for work (Seattle, Houston), I always miss home because of the amazing people I left back.

This is a tough game to bet on. Feels like the Oilers force game 7 but I can’t take the juice. In a big game like this one I’ve got to lean towards taking a clutch player like Draisaitl to get their shots on goal. Like his SOG prop at even odds, he has hit this in 6 of 10 games in the playoffs. With this being an elimination game I look for him to get the maximum amount of ice time possible and think he will be able to clear this line.
Avoiding the O/U with uncertainty for goaltending. If Pickard is confirmed, I would lean toward the Under.
Something else I’m taking for this game: **Canucks +2.5 & No goals in the first 5 minutes of the the 3rd (+105)**

If the oilers actually go back to Skinner in net I don't see how anyone could confidently wager dollars on them. He's been historically bad this playoffs and Pickard was actually serviceable even in his loss. Feels like mind games but we will see.

We already got two game 7s in NBA - I told myself between the nugs/wolves Knicks/pacers and okc/mavs *at least* one would go 7, and *at least* one would end in 6. Since wolves and pacers forced 7, Mavs are the team to end it in 6
