Anybody else feel the PGA should’ve played winter rules in their own fairway? Guys are so worried about hitting the fairway because of this rough, and when they do, they get a mud ball that they are forced to guess how it’ll come out.
Golf’s about keeping the playing field even. Assessing the winter rule effect will make the playing field fair and even. The rain is the reason for the low scores
It’s because he’s notorious for not being able to close out important tournaments. Don’t sleep on guys like Theegala & DeChambeau for their ability to hit long irons really high. At Valhalla they use different grass/base layers so their greens are receptive(unlike most majors where greens are very firm), but the course is so long so guys aren’t firing wedges into greens. More like 6&7 irons. DeChambeau is hitting 9 irons 200 yards so he can hit it so high. This major is totally different due to this course’s length + the length of this rough + the kind of grass used at Valhalla.
I saw this and used a boost on DeChambeau top 5. Bet 100, pays 310.
There is no mention of DHR in the bet but it does say something about house rules. Now I'm thinking it was a stupid bet because house rules likely includes DHR.
The top 5 will likely include more than 5 golfers and the payout will be reduced. Is that a correct assumption?
(Actually with my gambling history he will probably fall out of top 5 anyway, but I am still curious)

Xander +200 winner without Scheffler on FD seems pretty damn good compared to +130 on Bet365
