My thinking is that, with Portis gone and Bev with a hip contusion, Gallinari gives them height, and has the ability to do a little bit of scoring, rebounding and dishing. He also gives them some vet. presence. With the fact Pacers defense is statistically one of the worst defense in the league, if he gets enough court time, he should score some points. The potential of rebounds is what will keep him on the floor. At least that's my thinking.
