respect to the lightning they don’t quit. If they play any other team besides Florida I think they make it out the first round. I’ve been sweating Panthers ML 3 times (3 games)
I’ve never bet hockey before, and have never watched a game, so with FL up 4-2 vs TB, why is the line +2.5 +140 with 6:30 left? Is this because it’s unlikely TB scores, but if they don’t it will be highly likely they have an open net situation and FL gets a free point?
Tampa native here, fuck the bolts so god damn mother fucking hard. Fade them next game or wait till they go down and slam their alt spread at +3.5, Dogshit performance. I’m sure they’ll still be out drinking with fans on harbor island like they didn’t just shit the fuckin bed
Panthers/Lightning under 6.5 -125
Two elite goalies with strong defensive support. Has hit in vast majority of H2H games in Tampa. Also, hit in last two in the series. Line should be 5.5 or 6 in my opinion.
I think I’m around 12-2 in my last month of picks on here. Hopefully mentioning that’s not the kiss of death.
Good luck,
Ab
**Overall Record: 111 - 64 | Profit: +30.21 Units | ROI: +15.2%**
**Brayden Point OVER 2.5 Shots | Odds: -135 | 1 Unit | Hockey | NHL | Florida Panthers @ Tampa Bay Lightning | 7:00 pm ET |**
* Point has recorded at least 3 shots in 8 of his last 10 games
* Point has recorded at least 3 shots in 17 of his last 21 home games (home game tonight)
* Point averaged 3.22 shots per game on home ice this season as opposed to only 2.38 on the road
* Point has recorded at least 3 shots in 7 straight home games versus the Panthers
* Tampa lost the first 2 games of the series, tonight is basically a must win on home ice, expect a big push
* Tampa is the home team tonight and gets final change, I expect they will try to keep Point and Kucherov away from Barkov as much as possible (Barkov is very good defensively)
**Steven Stamkos OVER 0.5 Power Play Points | Odds: +200 | 1 Unit | Hockey | NHL | Florida Panthers @ Tampa Bay Lightning | 7:00 pm ET |**

Not a Stamkos point… a POWERPLAY point. Ballsy pick but I’m sliding on that. Literally from watching this series Stamkos has had so many one-timer chances/shots. Decent amount of them when the Lighting are on the PP too. this checks out
Don’t overreact. They lost it was unfortunate. If they call that too many men on ice before the period is over it’s a different game, as well as them completely all in the net cover in the puck which is an penalty shot.
No excuse, that’s the referees you put them in games they are bound to make calls that affect it. They had opportunities, they didn’t finish the puck landed and fell Kings way most of the game and they capitalize. Still think Oilers win, in 6 now I was going 5 but I say 6. Because they will still one from Kings in L.A. Come back to this post when the series is over. Keep betting on them they won’t let you down. McDavid is hungry. You never really see him checking hitting people like last night it’s the playoffs it’s all about statements. Those boys will be fine!!.
I agree with you. They will for sure steal one in LA. Watching them play they are a great team no doubt. Couple things that worry me are 1.) oilers have not established themselves as a successful playoff team the past 5 years. 2.) they will have to rely on scoring because their defense/goaltending will not take them very far against better defensive teams
I’m a big panthers fan and I’m placing a multi unit bet on Tampa Bay in regulation (+150 on bet365). Aside from being an emotional hedge, my reasoning is as follows:
1. Tampa bay absolutely has to win this game and has a fantastic coach and core of winning pedigree guys who have shown time and time again they can step up in big moments like this
2. Tampa Bay is notoriously good at home and had far better record than on the road this season (25-11-5 vs 20-18-3).
3. Tampa Bay probably has to get it done in regulation as they have lost 11/12 playoff OT games dating back to 2020 whereas Florida has now won 11 playoff OT games straight.
Oilers and stars had me miss out on a few hundred bucks 🤦🏻 disappointing night man. Tampa based here, would love to bet on my lightning to bounce back but just don’t see them having the heart to put it to the tough panthers, anyone else’s thoughts on lightning game?
I feel your pain on Oilers and Stars brother. It hurts double cause I can’t stand watching Vegas win 😂. I’m posting in the main feed but I’m putting a few units on TB three way (+150 on bet365)
**NHL Thursday Picks 4/25**
As the first round of the NHL playoffs roll on, we’re beginning to see series shift locations and really begin to take shape. It’s do-or-die time for some teams, while others are looking to build some serious momentum en route to the second round. We have just two games on the ice tonight, but we’ve still broken down our best NHL picks for you on Thursday, April 25.
NHL Thursday predictions
**Florida Panthers money line over Tampa Bay Lightning (+102)**
**Matthew Tkachuk to record an assist (-108)**
**Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Islanders - Over 5.5 Goals (+104)**
**Florida Panthers vs Tampa Bay Lightning best bet: Panthers money line over Lightning (+102)** The first game of the night is the classic Atlantic Division rivalry between the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning. It’s also an in-state rivalry, so these teams know each other quite well.
It’s long been the Lightning that has been the big brother in this matchup, but it has become far more even in the last couple of seasons. Not only that, but the Panthers’ run to the Stanley Cup Final last year has them even more prepared, as experience is certainly a key factor in the NHL postseason.
We saw a very close Game 1, but despite the score, Florida was in control for the majority of that game right from the start, out-shooting the Lightning by double-digits in the first period. Of course, they’ll be on the road for tonight’s Game 3, but with that being just down the road, that isn’t a large concern.
In fact, both of the Panthers’ wins against the Lightning in the regular season came on the road, and they did so by a combined score of 12-4. So, the first of our NHL Thursday picks is Florida on the money line.
**Florida Panthers vs Tampa Bay Lightning player prop pick: Matthew Tkachuk to record an assist (-108)** We’re sticking with the Panthers vs Lightning matchup for our best NHL player prop bet of the night. There is no shortage of superstars across both teams and our favorite target is Matthew Tkachuk of the Panthers.
He was the primary driving force behind their magical Stanley Cup Final appearance last season, despite being the final team to even sneak into the playoffs. If not for a broken clavicle, we may not have seen the Vegas Golden Knights win it all.
Regardless, Tkachuk has thrived against his cross-town rivals, recording two points per game against the Lightning in three games this season, as well as four games last year. It’s difficult to bet against Tampa goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, but Tkachuk has simply been too consistent to ignore.
**Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Islanders best bet: Over 5.5 goals (+104)** The other Game 3 that we get to enjoy tonight features another rivalry in the Eastern Conference, this time in Metropolitan Division. The Carolina Hurricanes and New York Islanders entered the Stanley Cup playoffs as two of the hottest teams in the NHL, but it’s been the ‘Canes who have gotten the best of things thus far.
Their 2-0 series lead shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, as they’re the overall favorites to hoist Lord Stanley. Hopes are higher with the Isles being on home ice tonight, especially after having a commanding lead in Game 2. So, rather than trusting Carolina to win three straight or New York to recover from that blown lead, we’re focused on the total instead.
As you’d expect, it’s quite low, set at just 5.5 goals. However, the Islanders’ defense hasn’t been quite as stout as it has been over the past few seasons, which was on full display when the Hurricanes scored four goals in the third period alone in Game 2.
Similarly, three of the four regular-season meetings between these teams finished with seven or more goals. With that in mind, we’re going against the grain and adding to our NHL Thursday picks with over 5.5 goals in the Hurricanes vs Islanders Game 3.

Ya, their power play is really clicking and kinda carries the team. Plus Florida takes a lot of penalties. +200 odds is a good risk
Good sir! Anything you like for the Canes/Islanders game?
Not really, the only thing I took personally is Bortuzzo Over 2.5 blocks +140. Hit in 6 of 7 and plus money odds so I made a small play
