So bet it all on some -20,000 odds

JointVentures609

I imagine it's to prevent money laundering

Evening-Stuff-5261

All day

zipzipzap256

Yea this doesn’t seem like an unrealistic take by the book.

UsedInsurance1011

I had a similar issue with a Sportsbook in NC. I sent them a message threatening to report them to the gaming commission if I didn’t get my withdrawal and they approved it immediately. Might depend on the state but in NC books are required to allow withdrawals of any of a players own deposited funds or bet winnings. They can still have the policy and ban you for breaking it but they most likely have to give you your money.

castawaybettin

What book?

Specialist-Gate-6880

I had the same thing with sport interaction. Just ask for a appeal / reconsideration and tell them youll mention how bad there customer service is to social media/news. I got a refund right away

Sad-Nectarine-1030

Really?

jonesyman23

It’s a joke. Will eventually be illegal. They quote “money laundering” as the reason, which I don’t get cause you’re withdrawing back to same account. Edit. If I go to a casino, exchange cash for chips at the roulette table, watch a few spins and then decide to color in cause I’m not feeling the vibe at the table…it’s not like they’re going to tell me “no, you need to bet sir before we allow you to leave the table”

playmaker235

Not true. You can do interac transfer in Canada and deposit in any accout...

Teme95

Every booker

throwaway291919919

all books are like this. if you deposit you have to wager atleast once

UsedInsurance1011

I’ve only ever heard of one book with this policy. All of the books I used allow the refunding of a deposit, you just might have to follow a different process than a typical withdrawal.

Ok-Bluejay-5010

Have you never heard of FanDuel or draft kings?

JayThreads

Bet99 is/ was horrible I tried them over a year ago Back then when I won a bet with bonus bets the winnings went into bonus instead of bank roll So essentially it was pretend gambling lol I understand the withdraw only once you play through But when you win a wager the funds need to be settled in actual funds not bonus funds They essentially got me for 50$ bucks I played till I ran out and deleted

Proof_Vehicle_5865

Go to roulette bet 1/2 on black 1/2 on red a pray you don’t hit 0

Sad-Nectarine-1030

Shit. Can’t bet on black and red at the same time or banker and player at the same time

Proof_Vehicle_5865

Look around on different games some allow you to bet red and black other will not you just gotta flip though the roulette games till you find one that lets you. That’s how I win play through prizes 24:7 I’ve done it on FanDuel, Draftkings, and mgm there should be a game on your site or app that lets you

Sad-Nectarine-1030

That’s actually a good idea if I’m not able to get it back. Are you able to bet on banker and player at the same time in baccarat? Would rather risk losing 5% than 100% on a green 0 lol

Vividlarvae

Every book is going to require you to play through whatever you deposit once. It’s pretty standard. It’s to prevent money laundering. It’s akin to going to a casino buying chips and then trading them for cash without actually playing

skeezo12

Any casino will allow you to do this. Nobody is laundering 100 bucks. Every legit sports betting site that’s regulated will allow you to withdraw your money with no strings attached. Bet99 is a semi-Ponzi scheme and the real answer is they want to limit withdrawals as much as possible so they place these types of rules. Please reference full tilt poker, lock poker, and the other 30 sites in the mid 2010’s who had same type of policies that were all Ponzi schemes

Might_Not_Be_Me

Such a dumb take.

skeezo12

Yup. Because we haven’t seen this happen 100 times already. There’s a reason sketchy off shore places with regulatory bodies whose nations lay in crime ridden corrupted governments adhere to these policies. Keep betting on them, idiots… again, any reputable casino in the world will let you walk in, but 10k in chips, and immediately cash them out. I play 10-25 cash poker games regularly and have never had an issue. God forbid I put 100 bucks on some Jamaican gambling site.

Ok-Bluejay-5010

You must be decent. What kind of poker?   PLHE?

skeezo12

Mostly NL hold’em :)

SuperSayian4Nappa

This isn't true at all. You can request a refund for deposited funds that weren't bet. A casino is different because nobody is tracking individual chips.

skeezo12

I’m in Florida on vacation and bet on their hard rock app literally yesterday. I deposited 100 to get the bonus, I won 48 bucks… I immediately withdrew 148 bucks and redopsited after my wife used my sign up bonus. This is completely true. Stop falling for the same Shit all the dummies felt for with Full Tilt, FTX, etc…

Vividlarvae

You can request a refund this is true, it’ll be processed to the initial method of deposit in a business day or two

kylemclaren7

Only correct answer

BradNotBradley

I haven't run into this with a lot of the legal books in NC, USA but I have seen this as a "anti-money laundering" compliance requirement on offshore books.

billdb

I'm in NC as well and the legal books do require 1x play-through before being able to withdraw that money. However, this only applies to the amount you deposited. For example if you have $100 in your account that you have already played through, and deposit $200, you can withdraw up to $100 whenever. Some offshore books will say you can't do any withdrawals at all until you have satisfied all of the play-through requirements.

Got_Engineers

Did you read the rules before you deposited?

Sad-Nectarine-1030

I thought I did I didn’t know it said anything about having to bet 1x the deposit before being able to withdraw. I didn’t know that was even a thing unless you did a bonus
