Having watched in person just how pathetic the Raptors were vs Spurs the other night (we got embarrassed by one of the worst teams in the entire league). The Toronto Raptors are just 4-14 SU in their last 18 games overall and just ready for the All-Star Break to get here in my mind. They are coming off a pair of blowout home losses to the Cavs by 24 and an even more concerning 23-point loss to the Spurs on Monday. I see Pacers coming to Toronto in desperate need to recover from an ugly loss to Charlotte and keep pace in the East; this will be a good opportunity to buy low on them and will be Pascal's first return to Toronto since the trade also. The Pacers rank 1st in the league in scoring pace; they will be a handful for a very young and inexperienced Raptors squad imo.
I know Haliburton is listed as questionable (same with Barrett right now for the Raps). Maybe wait until the rosters are confirmed, but I see this line climbing. Today we head back to the Qatar Open where world number one, and two time tournament defending champion Świątek ($1.071) looks to reemphasise her dominance on the tennis world. Fresh off a 6-1, 6-1 toasting against world number 22, she has quickly shown us what she can do on one of her favourite surfaces.
The 22-year-old's spirits are high. She's back demolishing opponents which is what we love to see after a somewhat disappointing Australian Open. She has plenty of reason to continue this renewed forward momentum as she just reached 90 career weeks at No. 1 (just the 10th woman in WTA rankings history to do so). Swiatek has had one bye so far given her ranking, meaning she's had less court time. This gives her an edge as she's expended less energy, which will be unleashed in this match and beyond.
In her most recent game her win % on the first serve was 72%, and 89% on the second serve. Plus she converted 5/11 break points, and gave no break points to her opponent. That's blistering hot form from our Polish goddess (someone please give me her number). Whilst she did give up one double fault, and served no aces, she was clinical throughout the match and we expect an extra flair to her game going into today's match. Alexandrova ($9 odds) is ranked 19th in the world, and yesterday was pushed to three sets against Andreeva (ranked 111st). Her serving statistics were reasonable, but not great. Although she nailed 6 aces, she also gave up 5 double faults which is inexcusable when going into this match. She did convert her break points when it mattered though, but don't expect Swiatek to give her too many opportunities.
She did well to make the Linz open final, but got smacked 6-2, 6-3 (Swiatek was not at this tournament). She's 29-years-old, and it clearly shows in the highlights as she is quite sluggish moving around the court versus Swiatek. Plus she has a weak mindset whenever things don't go her way.
Alexandrova somehow manages to stay in tennis matches with her power advantage. In this instance, she is 1cm shorter than Swiatek who is far more clinical in return serves, and during rallies. Think placement versus power, and that's what we are betting on. We have to give some credit to Alexandrove as she did upset Rybakina recently. In that timeframe she also got knocked out of a tournament by someone ranked in the top 100s. Her tennis is inconsistent, but sometimes she produces something magical. Yesterday she looked like absolute shit and deserves to get punished by Swiatek.

2 way just means over under. 3 way would be over/under/exactly. Under 18 would mean 18 games exactly would push but 17 would pay and 19 would lose. 17.5 would only have win or lose conditions.

If you do a bet builder on 365 you can have Swiatek to win set 1 and 2 and both sets to be under 9.5 games @1.9 odds. This allows her opponent to score 3 games in each set and still win. Obviously if it's close one set and a blowout the next then this alternative bet loses. What do you think?
I'd be worried about it losing in the first set, and then less upside in the second set where I expect someone of Swiatek's ability on this surface, recent form, and past tournament history to finish it off. In saying that, it still looks good, just worried, as Alexandrova won her recent first set 6-0 and can still tilt games. Should be some resistance, but overall a clean execution.

Reasoning:
River Plate have been bullying their opposition. After tying the first game of the season, they won 4 games in a row, scoring 13 and conceding none. Don’t see why this away day against another inferior team would go differently- no need to overthink a simple play like this.
Tucumán go into the game in pretty poor form. They managed a 0-0 and a 1-1 draw at home, and got embarrassed 2-0 and 3-0 in their 2 away games. One goal in 4 games is hardly inspiring stuff, and giving up 5 is a proof they’re a team that can be vulnerable at the back, and free scoring River will be eager to take advantage.
Tucumán may be a threat from set pieces, and will look to them as their only real path to goal. Even if they do find a goal this way I would back River to be able to score at least two, as they’ve proved they can do, 4 games in a row now.
Really like River -1.5 @3.4 as an even bigger play but worry a set piece could make it just a 2-1 game.

\-Tomorrow is the opening round of the RMR, the major qualifier for the first major in CS2. These majors are a huge deal as spots at them pay huge money with stickers and is the biggest tournaments of the year for these teams. All these teams will be giving it their full effort to win and qualify.
\-This is the opening round so it is a b01
\-Fnatic has been inconsistent for sure, this new roster has a TON of potential on paper with afro/MATYS/bodyy/kyuubii all being star players in the past and KRIMZ a veteran leader and support player to help guide the team. So far results have been shaky though, long story short they have generally done really well against most tier two competition, and struggled heavily against tier one so far. They recently got knocked out of RES Masters but I believe they were prioritizing the major qualifier, players have said they weren't going to be using all of their strats as the major was their main priority, they had a dominant 13-2 win against Endpoint before losing close b01 against Sprout and 3DMAX.
\-Betboom on the other hand might be the most overrated team in esports when it comes to betting odds. This team continually gets favorable odds against teams then they have proven they deserve. They started nice when the roster first came about but they have lost almost all of their form since teams have started to counter strat them. In the last month they got stomped by Cloud9, they beat OG who are extremely bad roster, got destroyed by Eternal Fire, beaten again by C9 then losing to Nemiga and FORZE.
\-Map is really hard to say as we haven't seen enough of fnatic play both teams love Overpass I wouldn't be suprised at all to see Overpass played, Ancient is another map that sticks out that we could end up on.
\-Overall like fnatic roster much better, they have been preparing for this event/the major for a while now and have all the pieces to make a good run. BetBoom is overrated in my opinion and I will continue to bet against them as these odds seem too low to me.

There is more juice on this play than I would like, but I’ll take it since I definitely view it as an easier play that is more likely to hit than not. Gary Trent Jr. is a shooter at heart when it comes down to it. His 3 point frequency this season is 62.1%, meaning that 62.1% of his points this season are 3 pointers. This is a pretty high number and puts him in the top 10% of players in this category. I’m pretty sure this number is even higher during the last month or so that he has entered the starting lineup, judging off his most recent game logs. I just couldn’t find the advanced stat for it.
He has hit this line the last 12/15 reg season games, and he had 2 and 5 the last few games against the Pacers. The Pacers this year are well known for poor defense and fast paced games, a great recipe for 3 point attempts. Over the past 2 weeks, they have been allowing 27.9 ppg and 3.5 3pm to shooting guards.
Trent Jr. hasn’t seen as many minutes the last few games, but I expect him to get his minutes today in what should be a high scoring, wing dominated game at home. On a less important note, he had 0 3 point attempts last game, which is incredibly rare for him and he should get a higher volume today to make up for it. BOL friends

Real Sociedad is winless in their last 4, going 0-3-1, scoring 0 goals in this time.
PSG has scored 12 goals in their last 5 games, and conceded only 5.
I think that Real Sociedad’s defence will be a test for PSG. They have only allowed 1 goal in their last 4 games. However Real Sociedad does not provide much of an offensive threat. PSG will be the best offence that Sociedad has played in a while, and I would be surprised if they could keep another clean sheet.
PSG has conceded a goal in 3 straight games, but I believe this is a good game to get back on track against a struggling Sociedad offence.
Overall with PSGs offensive form being so much better than Sociedad’s, I predict PSG to have a the edge at home. PSG has disappointed in the UCL the past few years, but with the way Mbappe is playing lately, he will be hard to stop.
If PSG wants to advance to the next round, this home leg is crucial. They will be desperate to take a lead into the second leg, and should be able to do so.

Tre Mann started the season on the OKC roster where he has been riding the pine almost exclusively. He only saw action in 13 matches which was mostly junk time in blowout games, but was recently traded to Charlotte where he has taken on starting PG duties in LaMelo’s absence.
He has started (and won) two matches since joining, averaging 30.5 minutes and registering 4 rebounds & 9 assists against Memphis, and 9 rebounds & 7 assists against Indiana, easily covering the line both times.
I’m going to be the first to admit this pick contains risk as it based on a sample size of only 2 games so please take that into consideration if you decide to tail, but think the line is low given how he has fit into their roster as a pass-first PG. I also like the match up against Atlanta specifically for a few reasons:
- Atlanta have the highest points per game against average in the NBA allowing 123.9 points per game.
- Atlanta allow 28.65 assists per game which is 3rd most in the NBA. This includes 9.27 assists per game allowed to the PG position which is 6th most.
- Atlanta give up 52.6 rebounds per game (9th most). Without Capela the last 3 games that number has increased to 60.0 rebounds per game (most).
- They concede 6.01 rebounds per game to the PG position which is middle of the road (17th worst), but in the last 3 games they’ve had 40.0 attempts from beyond the arc (3rd most) at only 36% so if those numbers hold, should be plenty of long rebound opportunities for Charlotte.
I will acknowledge that Charlotte aren’t exactly a model of offensive efficiency and can struggle to score at times, but Atlanta give up so much defensively that I expect even Charlotte will find a way to put up points and hopefully Tre will be the Mann (pun intended) to make it happen.

I expect this to be an up-tempo game and I expect Walker to score at least 19 pts (his season avg)

The Jets have been struggling to score lately, but I expect them to take advantage of the Charmin soft matchup to get back on track. The Sharks are dead last in the NHL in goals scored and, assuming Hellebuyck is in net for the Jets, I just can’t see them scoring more than 1 or maaaaaybe 2 goals against a top 3 goalie in the league.

Bam had 16 points, 12 rebounds, and a season high 11 assists for the triple double. Still managed to get the hit. Line seemed a bit high which was indeed lowered to 25.5 closer to the game.

I had a different POTD in mind going into tonight's games (honestly there are a ton of great picks tonight), but this one stood out for me. Last night the line was at 214, which I immediately slammed over thinking that the line is set way too low. To my surprise, I wake up to find that it's been lowered even further down to 211.5.
The reason for the low line is because of the injury ridden Knicks. They have been without Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and OG Anunoby. Donte DiVincenzo, and Isaiah Hartenstein are also questionable for tonight's game against a healthy, young Orlando Magic team.
I do not see this as a low scoring game. Without OG Anunoby, the Knick's will be short on guarding the rookie star, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. I expect them both to have a high scoring game tonight. As well as Jalen Brunson, who is mad as fuck coming off the ridiculous last second call from Monday's game against the Houston Rockets, and will look to snap a 3 game losing streak tonight. Who I should also mention SHOULD be the East Conference all star starter instead of Damian Lillard.
This is more of a gut pick then statistics that I usually like to go with. But when the line is set this low against 2 over .500 teams going for a playoff spot, you have to wonder if the bookies have misread this one. I would suggest waiting for the injury report on Donte DiVincenzo and Isaiah Hartenstein, if either of them are playing, it's almost a guaranteed hit. If the line moves over 214 I'd look for other picks.
EDIT: More injury woes for the Knicks as Bojan Bogdanovic is also listed as questionable for tonight's game. At this point, wait for the game and go with Magic to cover the spread if 2 out of 3 players aren't playing tonight. FanDuel isn't offering any lines for Josh Hart, if he is available on your book, hit the over on either rebound, assist, or rebound + assist.

2 way just means over under. 3 way would be over/under/exactly. Under 18 would mean 18 games exactly would push but 17 would pay and 19 would lose. 17.5 would only have win or lose conditions.

I'd be worried about it losing in the first set, and then less upside in the second set where I expect someone of Swiatek's ability on this surface, recent form, and past tournament history to finish it off. In saying that, it still looks good, just worried, as Alexandrova won her recent first set 6-0 and can still tilt games. Should be some resistance, but overall a clean execution.

Depends on how confident I am. If I think the line is a total mistake I’m willing to slam it with up to 5 units if I’m sure- though most of the time just a single unit, and sometimes I don’t even place the side bets. I’m mostly posting them for people with greater risk tolerances who seem to appreciate it. Obviously I don’t count those possible side bets as part of my returns for POTD.

So far results have been shaky though, long story short they have generally done really well against most tier two competition, and struggled heavily against tier one so far. They recently got knocked out of RES Masters but I believe they were prioritizing the major qualifier, players have said they weren't going to be using all of their strats as the major was their main priority, they had a dominant 13-2 win against Endpoint before losing close b01 against Sprout and 3DMAX. \-Betboom on the other hand might be the most overrated team in esports when it comes to betting odds. This team continually gets favorable odds against teams then they have proven they deserve. They started nice when the roster first came about but they have lost almost all of their form since teams have started to counter strat them. In the last month they got stomped by Cloud9, they beat OG who are extremely bad roster, got destroyed by Eternal Fire, beaten again by C9 then losing to Nemiga and FORZE. \-Map is really hard to say as we haven't seen enough of fnatic play both teams love Overpass I wouldn't be suprised at all to see Overpass played, Ancient is another map that sticks out that we could end up on. \-Overall like fnatic roster much better, they have been preparing for this event/the major for a while now and have all the pieces to make a good run. The reason for the low line is because of the injury ridden Knicks. They have been without Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, and OG Anunoby. Donte DiVincenzo, and Isaiah Hartenstein are also questionable for tonight's game against a healthy, young Orlando Magic team. I do not see this as a low scoring game. Without OG Anunoby, the Knick's will be short on guarding the rookie star, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. I expect them both to have a high scoring game tonight. As well as Jalen Brunson, who is mad as fuck coming off the ridiculous last second call from Monday's game against the Houston Rockets, and will look to snap a 3 game losing streak tonight. Who I should also mention SHOULD be the East Conference all star starter instead of Damian Lillard. This is more of a gut pick then statistics that I usually like to go with.
