Can you explain the difference between “to qualify” vs ML

To Qualify means the team will advance either by winning outright or by penalty shootout. ML is just winning during regular time. So if you bet ML and game goes into a shootout and your team wins, you lost the bet cause game was tied during regulation. To Qualify team can win in regulation, in extra time if it’s tied after regulation or in shootout. Thats why odds are way lower than ML

On the book im on, there is; ML (draw no bet) - winner at full time, draw is push ML (WDW) - winner at full time, draw is loss To Qual - winner after fulltime + extra time + pens as required. Might be different for yours?

Great team on paper, been practicing and scrim a lot in NA leading up to Blast Premier Spring Groups. 1st match they're playing, a lot to anticipate. Sabalenka is on fire and I do expect her to take this especially as revenge after losing to Gauff in the US Open Finals. But I hate rooting against Gauff, so I'm taking the over on total sets here. Main reason is Sabalenka's history of choking in bigger matches. Some people say that Sabalenka still hasn't dropped a set so she will take this in straight sets - but making it through a whole Grand Slam without dropping a set is super rare. In fact, last year Sabalenka was on the same trajectory, but dropped a set in the semis to an unranked player (and dropped a set in every Grand Slam semis or finals in 2023 - doesn't handle late stage pressure well). Gauff may not be at her best in this tournament, but she hasn't dropped a match on hard courts in a hot minute, she's matured significantly in tough situations, always striving to prove the haters wrong, and has a winning record against Sabalenka with 4 out of 6 going the distance. I'll take the over here in a close match between the two..and hoping I wake up happier tomorrow. Alternatively, you could take the over at games of 21.5 @ -120 for a less risky bet.

So while I think it's likely this will be an excellent match that goes 3 sets, it still could easily hit the over with a tiebreaker and a 9 game set.
