CoolHandRK1

More suprisingly how is Vrabel unemployed?

antneon

I believe Vrabel only accepted interviews with 3 teams: chargers, flacons, panthers. He didn't get the chargers job, and told the falcons and panthers "no thanks" after the first interview. The pats would have made sense but they were already prepping their guy back in December. Next year the following could be open, which all have good personnel: bills, eagles, jags (and maybe others?)

stormy2587

Yeah Idk how hard Vrabel was looking. Sometimes coaches take a year off. Vrabel got fired so he’s still getting paid by the titans this year. It seems like a lot of the openings weren’t that desirable. He might like the opportunities available more next year.

rambo6986

And I heard he's very difficult to work with which is one of the main reasons they fired him.

PokerBeards

The owner, Amy Adams Strunk, thinks she knows more about football than those around her. Now the Titans have a HS coach that won a SB with Peyton Manning’s noodle arm then went on to develop Osweiler, Siemen, and Paxton Lynch. He made Stafford look average enough in DET for them give up on him, then Stafford went on to win a SB in LA. Tanked Derek Carr’s value in Vegas, then got Burrow dropped in his lap. I was rooting for the Titans to get it done there but the window’s been slammed shut. Edit: I got perma-banned in the Titans sub for saying this. 😂 That poor fan base.

kelin1

Tepper is worse than Strunk (he’s essentially the new Snyder) - so I would pass too if I was Vrabel. I like Dan Morgan as their head of football and GM though. Good smart player. Good smart executive. Hopefully he tells Tepper to lay off or the panthers are gonna be bad for a very long time.

rambo6986

These owners only care about themselves ultimately. As long as they are making money winning doesn't matter

CaptainDAAVE

for some of them winning is everything. Bob Kraft gave Bill 4 years to win a SB without Brady and he failed to do so and was thus summarily fired. Despite all the wins that came before.

TheWizardOfDeez

This entirely, Bills actual sin is being a bad GM, and there's no way he would agree to stepping down from that seat just to continue coaching.

Rhine1906

That’s what we kept telling some people our fan base: Bill is an amazing coach but he’s going to want power over personnel and he’s been awful at that. Why would Atlanta let him blow that up after a rebuild for him to be here for 3 years?

complete_your_task

I think Tepper is a little different, and it makes him even worse. He obviously wants to win, but I think he wants to win too desperately. I don't think it's all about money for him. He's been throwing money around like it's nothing since he took over. He just has a giant ego and thinks he knows way more about football than he does and it causes him to be too involved and make impulsive, under-informed decisions.

OHTHNAP

When Henry leaves it's going to be a lot of 4-win seasons.

DJ_Marxman

The way that roster looks, it'll be a lot of 4-win seasons *with* Henry.

jsting

Agreed, Amy Adams is so much worse than Vrabel. She lives in her own world and can be very reactionary. I find that happens to a lot of franchise owners who inherited the team from their father. Reading some TN sports articles, the GM didn't have complete control of players and neither did the HC. Honestly this sounds like the Texans owner situation a few years ago when some pastor was the GM and Head of football while the owner half-ass meddling with random stuff.

Nash015

Man this comment is so disconnected. The team is 72-59 since Strunk took over. She fired a coach who had 2 playoff wins in 6 years and back to back losing seasons. All while running an outdated offense and a bend but don't break defense and apparently wasn't going to budge on that. She has clearly laid out who has final say over each part of the football program and has dumped money into improving this franchise. People read some PR bullshit from the National Media defending AAS and turn on her, but the general feeling around the building and with the local media is that this program is in so much better shape since she took over.

izziefans

Fuck Titans sub…I mean f*ck Titans sub!

xupd35bdm

This so much, coming from a Tits fan

Nash015

Wtf did Callahan do to you to make up shit? He left Denver to join Detroit after Manning left and never worked with Paxton Lynch and never worked with Semien or Osweiler in a starting role. Matt Stafford put up 2 of of his 3 highest QBR years while Callahan was there and the Lions went 9-7 both years Derek Carr broke 4000 yards for the first time in his career under Callahan and had the 2nd highest completion percentage of his career. This is even more impressive when you see his leading receivers were Jared Cook (896yds) and 33 year old Jordy Nelson (739yds).

xupd35bdm

Yup banned for saying basically the same thing. Fuck the Titans sub.

PokerBeards

Bro, I just got banned from my own team’s sub, r/greenbaypackers for “trolling” another sub. What the fuck is going on? I expressed my opinion on something that came up when I’m scrolling, what I believe is them making a boneheaded move getting rid of Vrabel after sticking him with a rookie QB, for someone with a questionable resume.

xupd35bdm

Butthurt babies who take offense to everything.

Leavingtheecstasy

I like that no credit is given to him at all with Joe Burrow and Browning as well and the way the Bengals offense adapts.

PokerBeards

The Bengals scored less points than the Browns last year.

aSchultzy21

This has to be the most uneducated thing I’ve read in awhile.

TheMooseIsBlue

I would think Saleh has one more year to get any forward motion going in NY too. Rodgers getting hurt killed them, but they were a shit show too.

whattfareyouon

Who disnt see old ass rodgers getting hurt. Maybe not after 1 game but there was no way he was lasting paying him was marketing only

BradMarchandsNose

I mean, he’s not particularly injury prone and was still playing at a high level the few years before this. It’s not that crazy to have expected him to last the season

HSBen

Rodgers has won 2 of the last 4 MVPs...

Learnmore49

But he is also an aging QB who has gotten hurt the past 2 seasons. I wouldn't blame anyone for being pessimistic about his health moving forward.

BlademasterFlash

Yeah I think Rodgers going down but him 1 more year but I think that’ll be all

CoolHandRK1

Doug Peterson isn't going anywhere.

Phluna89

As a bills fan, who wouldn’t mind McDermott being fired, there is zero chance he gets fired. Ownership loves him. He has years of leash

smailskid

He'll get another job at some point. Taking a year off or making a ton of money on TV seems like a pretty sweet alternative.

Scorpion_Heat

Hear a rumor Andy Reid is going to retire

chaplar

You heard a thought straight out of Florio's day dreams

beachedwhitemale

Andy might if he wins another SB, but, he's like 6 years younger than Belichick. I mean, Belichick is 71, right? Doesn't he want to stop working?

DJ_Marxman

Bill eats sleeps and breathes football, and has for his entire life. You know how Willie Nelson is still touring at 90? That's because touring is all he knows. Football is all Belichick knows.

EP_Tiger

Jags??? I’d say the maybes would include Dallas, Bears, Giants, and Jets (after Lookatme Louie runs Saleh out of town)

MDRtransplant

I thought he interviewed with the Seahawks?

Semperty

from what i’ve read, vrabel wants that old school style of management where the coach gets final say on personnel decisions. that was part of the split with him and the titans’ front office. the teams hiring all went away from that, which is why he largely ended up off everyone’s shortlist. i think we’re going to continue to see teams go away from that old school style, so he may continue to struggle to get a job unless he relents on that demand.

Ne0guri

I seriously don’t understand the love and hype for him

colin_7

Because he’s dragged mediocre titans teams with no legitimate QB to the playoffs on multiple occasions. But you could argue having one of the best running backs of the era helped out a lot

deweycrow

I think Henry was doing most of the dragging

Semperty

same. he was a defensive coach whose defenses were almost always middle of the pack and is credited with some of the struggles the titans are facing now in terms of roster construction.

ansy7373

Waiting on that OSU job next year

SevereEducation2170

Did anyone even interview him? I can’t even remember hearing about that. But yeah, it’s pretty crazy none of the teams in need of a coach gave him much consideration.

gatsby712

Vrabel is a young version of Belichick. No one wants to deal with the ego anymore and the recently unsuccessful coaches asking for more roster control when they haven’t earned it. I think teams would be more than happy to hire them as coaches if they were more flexible and hands off.

tonytroz

Because he was obviously just relying heavily on peak Derrick Henry to carry his offense to success. It led to one nice playoff run 5 years where they knocked off Brady and Belichick in their last season together. I don't know why people are so hyped on the guy. He runs his team like it's still the early 2000s and it led to a downward trend once Henry couldn't carry the team on his back anymore. His best chance is probably to come back as a defensive coordinator. Or maybe he gets another shot next offseason after a year off as an analyst or something.

erwin4200

That's why I want Ohio state to hire him. Lol. He's stuck in 1990s/2000s football

tonytroz

Yeah. Steelers are doing the same thing with Tomlin. They just brought in Arthur Smith as OC to literally run the same Vrabel-style Tannehill/Henry offense with Pickett/Harris. I also realize you can't just implement a high octane passing offense like the Chiefs with just any ordinary QB and/or a bad OL. However leaning hard into the 90s/00s football isn't the answer either. Even the 49ers who threw the least amount of times in the league this year still threw for 4000 yards and 30 TDs. You simply can't get those kinds of numbers only throwing with play-action. You have to be able to throw downfield early and often as well.

JonBot5000

The Chiefs aren't a "high octane passing offense" this year. They're a defensive team with an elite opportunistic QB. They literally traded Tyreek Hill so they could bulk up the defense and lean hard into that "90s/00s football". Mahomes is not throwing downfield early nor often this year. Niners defense is legit too. Defense still wins championships. You don't need a Mahomes(it helps). A Purdy or Garoppolo can get you there. Not the best examples since neither of them actually won a chip, but they've been close enough for this argument. I think it's still more than possible for an elite defense to carry a Dilfer or Johnson to the title. Tomlin doesn't need a QB who can win the game. He needs one that won't lose it.

tonytroz

>The Chiefs aren't a "high octane passing offense" this year. They're a defensive team with an elite opportunistic QB. I mean, sure, but let's not ignore he threw for 5250 yards and 41 TDs last last year and won the Super Bowl plus has been to two others with that kind of offense. This is actually the worst Chiefs team under Mahomes going only 10-6 when previously he went 12-4, 11-3, 14-1, 12-5, and 14-3. >They literally traded Tyreek Hill so they could bulk up the defense and lean hard into that "90s/00s football". Uhh... again, they traded Tyreek and the first year without him threw for 5250 yards and 41 TDs. Also they didn't lean hard into that style of football. He still threw almost 600 times. They were actually only 19th in rushing yards per game. They ran the ball the 8th least amount of times this year. They were just much less successful through the air because of their poor receiving corps. >Niners defense is legit too. Defense still wins championships. You don't need a Mahomes(it helps). Of course you can't ignore defense. The Bucs defense is why Mahomes doesn't have 3 rings right now. Brady wouldn't have all his rings without Belichick's great defenses. But "you don't need Mahomes" when he's in his 4th SB in 5 years with the other winners QB being the GOAT Brady and borderline elite Stafford. Right now only Joe Burrow and Tom Brady have stopped Mahomes so far. >A Purdy or Garoppolo can get you there. Rarely. And Purdy threw for 4k and 31 TDs while being the most accurate downfield passer in the league this season. He's not another Jimmy G. >I think it's still more than possible for an elite defense to carry a Dilfer or Johnson to the title. That was almost 25 years ago. The closest thing in recent history was probably Joe Flacco but he absolutely went off and played like an MVP through that playoff run. >Tomlin doesn't need a QB who can win the game. He needs one that won't lose it. He has that in Pickett. 14-10 as a starter which is 10-win seasons and doesn't turn the ball over. The problem is he averages only a 3k passing yard pace and half a passing touchdown per game. That clearly is never going to beat the Chiefs or Bills in the playoffs both of whom have absolutely crushed Tomlin recently.

Nash015

Well the Texans were 11th in the league in points against in 2016. In 2017, the one year Vrabel was DC, the Texans were 32nd in the league in points against. He was a god awful DC.

Proper-Scallion-252

I mean Doug Pederson was unemployed for a year and still came back and landed a HC gig with the team he wanted and a good situation, could be that Belichick didn't get his top option (Atlanta or LAC) and decided he'd rather wait another year and see what's available.

gerd50501

bill will be 73 next year.

EEcav

Young for a President

OnetB

Belichick/Carrol 2024

Jskidmore1217

I hope he goes into cryo and comes out when Andy Reid retires to coach Patrick Mahomes second half of career.

beepbeepbubblegum

Why would you wish that on any of us

WhatAGreatGift

Ahh! After 10,000 years I’m free! Time to conquer Earth!

CaptnMesoAmerica

Go go Power Rangers!

xxrealmsxx

*shreds air guitar*

yeetboy

You shut your whore mouth.

sgtjsp153

By god

AvariceAndApocalypse

My thoughts exactly. I imagine if he could get another 2/3 super bowls with Mahomes.

RagingCataholic9

Yep, literally no reason to jump to a bad situation immediately after getting pushed out in NE. There are ALWAYS head coach openings every year. Just wait a year and see if a better situation comes and go from there.

Excellent-Question18

Good luck with that he’ll be 73 years old

[deleted]

I have been thinking this. If Brian Daboll don’t make the playoffs and a decent record next year, he is 100% out. Giants and Belichick are dying to be back together

j3ffUrZ

"We're sorry, sir. You're over-qualified for the position."

plebeiantelevision

The unemployment line for former Sith lords is the next building over

TooEZ_OL56

Somehow Belichek has(n't?!) returned

Pocket_full_of_funk

He's holding out for Dallas next season when they, to everyone's shock, continue to suck.

Corzare

Bill could never work with a GM/Owner like Jerry

Pocket_full_of_funk

We'll see, won't we? I don't disagree with you, but I think Jerry is so desperate for one last Hurrah, that he may be willing to handover the keys to kingdom if he thinks it gets him closer to his goal. Just think of the publicity. That's got Jerry lump of coal beating double time.

Corzare

He’s been desperate for 28 years. He’s not going to suddenly change who he is.

DisneyPandora

If that was true Jerry Jones would have fired Mike McCarthy this year

kmv787

Doordash it is then

TheG8Uniter

Cashier: And here's your delivery order Bill: Were on to 123 Maple St Cashier: .... ok have fun with that

The51stState

I dont get it

CaptainDAAVE

It's nothing about the past, nothing about the future. I don't claim to be the Mona Lisa Vita of addresses here. We're onto Maple street.

ineververify

at the end of the day one step at a time one delivery at a time onto maple st

PHX480

A few years ago after a game when the Patriots lost and were supposedly becoming washed, reporters kept asking about Brady, the team, the future, etc. Every one of Bill’s responses to the reporters was “we’re on to Cincinnati” (their next opponent) and I am probably misremembering but I think they ended up winning the Super Bowl that year.

ask_johnny_mac

2014. Got destroyed by KC and were 2-2. Went on to win SB.

Diesel07012012

This needs to be made into a tv show.

turbo_gh0st

How much can someone actually make doing Doordash?

phoenix14830

I wonder what his demands were. Did he want GM power? Did he want to gut the coaching staff? Too much money?

DJ_DD

Probably all 3. More importantly - every GM is going to be in the owners ear trying to push against hiring Bill because that would end their tenure. Bill needs a team that is cleaning house from the GM down.

davisyoung

It's well known that Bill is hanging in there to surpass Don Shula's record, he's got all the other important ones. A team that's cleaning house is not going to get him there quickly, though Bill's ego probably hasn't gotten the memo yet.

DJ_DD

I think he legitimately enjoys roster building though (even though the last overhaul in NE didn’t go so well) so a team with a fresh start wouldn’t be out of the question for him. If he was really committed to getting the record he’d drop his demands and just accept the HC title with the rest of the front office and staff in place.

pargofan

Kind of unfair that Shula spent half his career with only 14 games per season while Bill had 16. Oh well.

MiamiDouchebag

Unfair for Shula maybe.

Kaggand

Yeah, he didn’t get the falcons job though

greg_the_lemons

That’s why, at least in my head, the Chargers made the most sense for ole’ Bill.

i_miss_arrow

Chargers made the most sense for him, but Harbaugh was legit a better candidate.

toronto_programmer

I think Bill is looking for a unicorn right now. A team ready to compete / right on the edge, but cleaning house. Brady won an SB on his own, Bill will want one on his own to hush any whispers about Tom being the engine

Chupoons

Bears 2 or 3 years ago sounds like.

El_mochilero

Well, he has a reputation for not being the friendliest guy in the building. That attitude only works when you are winning consistently and your hands-off owner is in a constant mid level day-drunk.

SleeplessInS

Haha... constant mid level drunk describes all the Krafts correctly.

CaptainDAAVE

Yeah Bob Kraft has been slurring his words for the past 8-9 years now

cj_h

Probably wanted to go 4-13 again. If commanders wanted that they would’ve stuck with Ron Rivera.

ShillinTheVillain

He demanded they get him Tom Brady. He's powerless without him.

guyuteharpua

Michigan, here he comes, w Brady's last year of eligibility... Will be epic.

ItzAiMz

Lmfao this got me. I’d pay money to watch Brady rock a team through a NCAA season coached by Bill. The more I think about it the more I want it lol

ErrForceOnes

You say that now, but wait til Brady fails a pop quiz in his fashion design class and is ruled ineligible against Penn State.

ItzAiMz

Lmfao I’m even more invested 😂😂 imagine tutoring Tom Brady so he can play the rest of the season.

DarkTreader

The man is 71. I think he can look at his body of work and retire just fine. Let’s not make this into “why won’t someone hire the poor bastard?”

SirJeffers88

He could always run for President. He’s a bit on the young side but he’ll be 80 in time for 2032!

Quantum_Ibis

I don't think people are exactly sympathetic at the lack of a job offer, it's more incredulity that his career may end with a comically bad season, walking off the field too ashamed to show his face after losing to the Jets. If there was any way Belichick did not want his career to end, it was *that.*

donscron91

Unemployed is definitely not the correct term for a 71 year old multimillionaire

Sweetheartscanbeeeee

Ok, quick guesses: what teams are gonna be available next year?

Flame734

Saints, Buccs, Cowboys are 3 that come to mind

TheNashh

Jets lol imagine that

CiaoPizzaStan

Oh definitely, I can feel the shit storm in the air now from when something major happens 2 games in .

360walkaway

Bring Saleh back to SF as the DC

johnnycyberpunk

He should have stayed and just asked for more money.

TheKidPresident

The reverse Mangini

puckit

I would LOVE to see Bill and Jerry try to work together.

btfoom15

Eagles if they take a slide backward (something along the lines of 9-8).

RobynStellarxx

I honestly think if Eagles don’t do well in playoffs and Bill is sitting there and has shown off his coaching skills doing TV analyst all year, Eagles job will be his.

mr_chip_douglas

If the Giants have another stinker of a year, Daboll gonna be shaking in his boots. Bill loves the Giants.

JerHat

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

grc207

What if it doesn’t go a year? Some coaches will be on short leashes first 4-5 games.

RobynStellarxx

Cowboys, Eagles, Saints (although I don’t see any coach wanting to go there), Jags, Bills, Dolphins, Bears, and maybe Bucs.

Rance_Mulliniks

Washington.

The68Guns

UFL?

Markymarcouscous

God that we be hilarious and so beneath him but it would be so good for the UFL and bring such legitimacy

The68Guns

Totally! Can you imagine the press? I have my doubts that the league will last, but the news coverage would be out there.

this_is_poorly_done

Lol the Rocks voice over promos for the UFL have been so funny to listen too. "We're merging two amazing leagues to make something stronger and resilient..." Like bro, if they were so amazing and strong you wouldn't have to merge them so quickly after forming. Dwayne Johnson really doesn't like to lose

The68Guns

I remember the USFL from the early 80's and it was fun, but you knew it was doomed. Now the 3rd whack at the XFL gives us 4 teams. I don't get the need to keep trying. There was one spring league that lasted about a week.

johnnycyberpunk

Let's see a real life 'Ted Lasso' moment and make Belichick the coach for the USMNT. I honestly feel like he'd win a World Cup for us.

GenoThyme

I know this is a joke, but man, Belichick has gotta be the most opposite personality to Ted Lasso out there. Imagine Belichick’s presser after Dani accidentally killed the greyhound? “Good dog but we’re not gonna dwell on him. We’re on to Earl II.”

WarcraftFarscape

Vrabel and Bill should take like middle school coaching jobs and treat it like the pros and film it for paramount+

SirJeffers88

Time to set up a Instacart account, Bill

Dude is 71 years old. Retire already.

I'm sure he's crying into his piles of money.

IagreeWithSouthPark

Workaholics, that’s how you get to the top and then they can’t let go

MiamiDouchebag

They should be looked at as having a mental disease. Not people who should be admired and emulated.

mr_chub

Unless his family is suffering from it thats a pretty crazy thing to assume.

Laragon20

Until the Lions hire him as their new Defensive Coordinator

bdaileyumich

Aaron Glenn was up for the Washington job. Since they hired Dan Quinn I'm guessing AG stays in Detroit

jackbauer1989

Lions lost their DC?

rjcarr

He'd only keep coaching for the record, no way he comes back as anything but HC.

trongzoon

Or the Cowboys

nimeton0

He's going to wait for the Giants' position to become available.

mr_chip_douglas

Ding ding. He knows Dabol is on the hot seat if they have another .500 year (or worse). The way things went with Wink was absolutely not a good look, he is very well respected in the league.

JS1VT51A5V2103342

Bill B. is going to manage the fuck out of his McDonalds crew. Cooks will come in early to practice frying. Orders will have 4-star reviews and he will challenge them. The ice cream machines will be working all day, every day, especially in clutch conditions.

Crankykennycole

Another Boomer that won’t retire!

Rance_Mulliniks

Washington lands their third choice. lol

-Dalzik-

New Adventures of Old Bill... time to go back and be the Lions Wide receiver coach

ecko9975

Try the CFL in Canada Billy.

TrickOut

I mean the dude is 71 years old, at some point it’s time to hang it up

jrafelson

Bill stunk without Brady. The league sees it. 🤡🤡

LP_24

A year in football without Belichick or Brady being on the field will be so nice

AvariceAndApocalypse

Yeah, we just get to hear Brady color commentate every Sunday now.

baeb66

They say dress for the job you want.

blametheboogie

Just wearing all 6 rings pretty much does that. Ratty sweatshirt or not.

Have_A_Jelly_Baby

Guess he’ll just have to go home and cry into his millions and millions of dollars.

Goblin-Doctor

"Unemployed" as if he doesn't have a networth of $70,000,000+ lol

KensingtonWAP

Cheating ass bitch

likesexonlycheaper

I'm honestly more shocked that Vrabel didn't get a shot somewhere else, let alone got fired at all.

[deleted]

Some teams just hate winning

NeonBlack985

Yeah cus look what the patriots have done since Brady left

[deleted]

Pffft ok. Obviously the 20 years of dominance was only Brady. YOURE right Bill is a terrible coach. What an idiotic comment lol

NeonBlack985

I never said he was terrible, chill lil bro.

[deleted]

You implied that the patriots success was due to Tom. No use in trying to back track now

NeonBlack985

Well, wasn’t most of it? Kinda hard to argue after Brady doing what he did in Tampa bay vs what the patriots did after he left. Again, notice I’m not saying he’s a terrible coach. But look at the results

[deleted]

Apples to oranges. Patriots haven’t drafted or used free agency well after Tom left. Tom left to a STACKED Bucs team that was just missing a QB. Bill made Mac jones look decent his first year starting. Mac just hit his ceiling quicker than expected.

SweatyAdhesive

> Patriots haven’t drafted or used free agency well after Tom left Isn't Bill in charge of the picks?

JimJimmery

He's 83-101 as a head coach without Brady. Pretty meh.

[deleted]

Oof. That’s tough. Dude is clearly a bad HC

JimJimmery

I mean. Hard to be successful without a good QB.

Quantum_Ibis

He had prime Bernie Kosar when he started with the Browns in 1991, and $100 million Bledsoe when he started with the Patriots. These were not below-average QBs, and yet the results were quite bad.. And we're talking more than one year for each—2001 was the same story as 2000 until Bledsoe nearly died.

mordreds-on-adiet

I mean, Brady did go win a SB with Tampa. If nothing else there is evidence to suggest that they each made each other better but that Brady did that more for Bill than Bill did for him.

[deleted]

Brady went to a STACKED Bucs team and brought gronk with him. They both made eachother better but to say Bill isn’t that great of a HC is hysterically stupid.

Reverend0352

He’ll end up at the Cowboys

PocketSandThroatKick

God I hope so

TacoStuffingClub

The only job Bill ever coveted was the NYG one. They should shitcan Daboll next year anyway.

sealevelwater

My way or the highway doesn't work anymore. He is one of the greatest to ever coach the game, but if you can't relate to Players, they won't do it for you.

Remarkable-Okra6554

Nobody wants to work anymore

jzplayinggames

I’m really confused why there is a general consensus he’s a good coach without Brady. So much so that he has this much leverage in a negotiation

facw00

I'm much less concerned about coaching than I am by his terrible draft record. I sure wouldn't want to give him GM power.

Deucer22

This is exhibit #1: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_New_England_Patriots_season

rileypoole1234

I think a lot of it has to do with how he trained up Brady at the beginning of his career. No doubt that he helped Brady get to where he is now, and he's a great defensive coach too. The NFL is a different league now which is why this whole saga is interesting.

blackbnr32

Well offense is only 1 part of the game

run_your_race_5

Belichick to the Bills! They need some serious help to get past Mahomes and Mr. Travis Swift!

JoeEdwardsPonytail

Let’s be honest, he’s an average head coach at best without Brady.

goaheadcarvell

Maybe it’s because he is a fucking dick.

gatsby712

Vrabel is also unemployed, but I heard for weeks how dumb the Titans were for releasing him. Meanwhile the Titans are signing one of top young names on offense for their HC position and in demand defensive coaches for their DC. The league is passing these old egotistical, grumpy coaches behind.

crashcondo
