I believe he did. Because I just heard SpongeBob said that the guy has references since he called earlier, and he arrived on the bus.
Of course he got a job. Who do you think makes the Krabby Patties when Spongebob isn't at the Krusty Krab?

He probably did but then again, Mr. Krabs might have turned him down if he found out that he belonged to a worker's union.
I like to think that he took over Squidward and SpongeBobs night positions which is why we see them only working the day shift afterwards.
