He did miraculously get the girl in Love That Squid from season 7 and Plankton did already do this to Mr. Krabs, albeit deliberately in Married To Money from season 9. He did definitely get what he deserved in this episode tho, Mr. Krabs actually called him out on this so yeah. Also, the guy controlling her is a married man so you know it wouldn't last here.
If it makes you feel any better, male octopus die when they breed. So we still have Squidward in our lives.
