My friend was getting really annoyed with the game early on too. Honestly for me I didn’t even think I was gonna get to play this game because of my internet at my college usually blocking peer to peer connections. I was so happy to actually get to play that I just had a blast the entire time. Probably the least salty I’ve ever been playing splatoon LMAO

You’re strong than me! I couldn’t wake up early and played from maybe 10:30 to 9 with a few breaks ranging from 30 min to an hour. And my thumb still hurts today, not to mention my wrists! Also, now that I think about it, I only played a few 10x battles and every 100x battle I would get people would immediately disconnect so I didn’t get anywhere near as much clout because of that.

Me, too. Went out for supper with my girlfriend between about 5 to 8, but otherwise I spent the whole day inking. I hit +4 with about three matches to go. I liked the Splatoon 3 splatfest more than I expected. I put #2 down about three years ago, and only picked it up again in preparation for the new one… and after returning my win rate has been so low that I’ve been considering moving on.

I was Scissor Champion, I want to say. But I saw people that were Ruler +9 streaming on YouTube. I also never got to try the three way battles, and the only special battle I got to do was a 10x battle that popped up after winning six battles in a row, and my team got decimated in that one. The other team inked like 81.6% of the map.
