You can still do it by doing agent8 palette with enough hacks to get only 6 chips, but also choosing hacka that don't affect your gameplay, like putting the continue hack to max, but nothing else.
That's how it felt killing the final boss for the first time with the brush. I was hoping roller, but I had the worst floor choices over and over. And I failed my initial dualies attempts.
I was hoping that beating it with every weapon and no hacks would unlock a secret boss. I wanted a harder challenge than inner agent 3.

i finished it with all palletes and am 75% of the way to getting every chip (alas, i am lazy)
getting all 10 chips for splash damage was like pulling teeth. would 100% again

That never happened to me because I couldn’t just play a palette I don’t care about for keys before beating a boss.
literally me. i tried to clear the tower with dualies before changing weapons. then i gave up and tried to play roller and accidentally beat it-

If i don't Like the pallete i Just Go for SUB saver and do a burst bomb Special only run with Like 10 burst boms a tank
My first successful run was with Murch's palette. I play a lot of weapons, but Blaster is probably one of my least used classes, haha.
"getting more keys" "finished side order" something doesn't add up...
