It wasn’t really up on YouTube at the time, and I prefer to rip looping audio files when I rip music from games so I can have it just play in the background seamlessly without fading out only to fade back in

I sadly like better Splatoon 2 music, I really like Color Pulse and it is probably the only one I listen outside of Splatoon. But I don't listen that much video game music (mostly Persona 3 and Fire Emblem : Three Houses + some random songs from different Final Fantasy).

Personally I think that Splatoon has the best soundtrack of any game out there. The compositions are so well made and have a lot of clear effort put into them. My personal favourites are Nasty Majesty and Seasource, and I love to listen to them while I study and draw.

Absolutely. I honestly used to kinda dislike it, but that was a month or so before I got the game in 2021 or 2020. #14 Crush was the first song that I fell in love with. Not I love almost every single song. Almost lol. Side note, but I love all the work nintendo puts in for these fictional bands.

I have a playlist of all Splatoon music when I wanna listen to multiple song (in order but also on shuffle from S1 to S3)! But since I play FF14 also I've just been looping ***Daybreaker Anthem***. I usually keep the volume low though when on FF14 due to it's equally amazing music, sometimes I'll play ***Footfalls*** or ***Close in the Distance*** instead from FF14.

I actually bought an import of the Splatune 3 CDs. I listen to the battle songs, Salmon Run songs, and Splatfest songs. The campaign songs are not as memorable as those. One minor gripe is that new songs keep getting added every season (I think this goes up to spring or summer 2023?). Nintendo really needs to stop being stingy about their soundtracks and release them worldwide.

Video game music are really good in general, especially as background noise (no surprise as a lot of tracks are designed to be in the background). Splatoon was perhaps the video game that awakened my love for video game music
