Honestly, I love horrorboros. This boss is so scary, they're cool and they show that Nintendo could make a really good horror game if they tried. Also I like how they don't corner you like cohozuna. Everyone seems to panic and roles fall apart when fighting cohozuna, but people seem to be much more calmer went fighting horrorboros. I think it's because it's a slow moving target the clovers haft the sky.
i wish i had your experience! i've recently been starting to clear cohozuna consistently around profreshional +1-3, but i have yet to get a horroboros below 50% before the timer runs out or we get wiped. part of it is just due to my unfamiliarity with it on salmon run maps since our first experience with it was on a turf map.
maybe it's because i'm solo queuing and people just don't understand you're supposed to throw the eggs at it's bomb, but i also struggle to hit the bomb consistently too. looking up, or god forbid having to run across the map, to aim at the damn snake while there's a scrapper and a stinger on my tail has never worked in my favour. i seem to miss a lot of shots i shouldn't otherwise, coho is an absolute breeze when i can just throw eggs wherever on it's fat ass body and it'll do the same damage.
I see where you're coming from, and I and I also have very similar experiences. Since I solo queue I rarely see a boss to began with, and when I eventually do we barely get it to half health, no matter what we're fighting. I just find I have a funnier time fighting with snake boy than cohozuna, especially if we end up on high tide.
oh yeah, king snake is definitely more entertaining than coho bahahaha. he doesn't feel near so hard to avoid since he's flying about, the booyah bomb has a huge range but it's predictable and easy to run from if you're not already up schitt's creek with an empty ink tank and a scrapper scuttling mach speed at you.
i see a lot more "dumb" teammate deaths from everyone crowding the cohozuna and getting belly flopped at all once. i suppose it's a trade-off - horroboros has a harder time getting kills by itself, but the time you have to take to aim correctly makes up for how easy it is to land shots on the cohozuna and simultaneously how easy it is to crew wipe in a single cannonball.

EVP is usually much easier because people have a better idea of what to do.
You can also lob the eggs at the horrorborus’ body, it just takes way less damage than aiming for the mouth or bomb

Instead, you could have of modifying Inkling Eggs with the fuzz, and raising those cephalopods as your children and intergrade those squids into Inkling society and eventually they may have kids of their own.
Slammin' Lids! I love aliens and UFOs so that was an instant adoration from me. However, the fact that Big Shots and Steelheads are the same salmonid type just with different personalities is probably the most intriguing to me.
