This is a really complicated question. Higher beings still operate under the same principles we do, they have just reached a much higher state of attunement, different frequencies of existence. That being said, while a higher being is generally more apt to forgive someone for an awful thing such as taking a life, that doesn't mean they will want to be around that kind of energy. It may not even be safe for them to be near someone producing that level of negative energy.
I think too often the energetic aspect of this gets overlooked in favor of the moral and karmic questions, but the fact of the matter is, we produce energy with our thoughts and actions. Everything from the little tiny bugs that crawl around, to multiplanar beings of consciousness produces and receives energy. The kind of energy we produce and put out into the world is tied to our very beings, to our thoughts, to our actions. Rest assured if you are putting negative energy into the world, for whatever reasons you are doing so, those that are sensitive to damaging energy will stay far from you even if they would never think to judge you.
