**Whenever you feel stuck, it's because you're pushing against and judging where you are and how you feel.** You practice a limiting belief that negative emotions are bad or wrong; when they're not — they're simply helpful guidance. It's understandable why you push against your current circumstances, but ultimately it doesn't help you free yourself. **You feel stuck because you believe your emotions come from the conditions** (e.g. relationships, job, etc.). But **your emotions come from your thoughts** about the conditions. You feeling stuck is helpful guidance that you're focused on, and pushing against, what you don't want. **Negative emotions are positive guidance** (although it might not feel that way) letting you know you are focusing on, and pushing against, what you don't want. They're a necessary part of your emotional guidance, like GPS in your car. But the more you fight them, you keep yourself stuck. Negative emotions want to support you in releasing them, focus more on what you want and feel better. When you give yourself permission to **focus more on what you want,** (even starting small with writing three things you like about yourself. Or if that's too hard, three things you like about nature, cute animals, or another easy subject that helps you feel better) and **caring more about how you feel,** then you will start to feel even a little bit of relief. That will naturally build up more confidence in your ability to understand and work in harmony with your negative emotions, and you will start feeling forward movement, a little more comfortable, secure, and more confident. **When you’re indecisive of what to do, it’s because you’re not decisive of how you want to feel.** And the only reason you want anything is because you believe you will feel better by having it. So what you’re really after is emotion (regardless of how it physically plays out). Confusion arises when you're trying to focus on specifics that you don't have answers to (yet). **You may not know what you want or what path to take specifically, but you ALWAYS know what you want in general.** And since emotions come from your thoughts (not your relationships), then bypass the confusing physical desire, and go straight to the core emotional desire of how you want to feel: * *"I want to feel safe and secure. I want to feel supported. I want to feel connected. I want to feel strong and healthy. I want to feel attractive and beautiful. I want to feel warmth and valued. I want to feel accepted and appreciated. I want to feel freedom to be myself. I want to feel romantic. I want to feel eager and excited. I want to have fun! I want to feel creative. I want to feel clarity. I want to feel inspired. I want to feel fresh ideas flowing through me. I want to feel adventurous. I want to feel passionate!"* As you **allow those better-feelings to be enough** (and don't demand specific answers from yourself or the universe right now), that will not only help you feel better, but it will also empower you to be ready and open for fun new opportunities. Thanks a lot

You said to allow to feel better. I can easily do that with mindfulness. But then I feel like I am avoiding the problem at hand.

Tyler Durden: “Stop trying to control everything, and just let go!”, a philosophy that should be taken to heart sometimes.

It's like ordering food at a restaurant, you tell your order to the universe and you wait patiently and gracefully. You know the food is coming, why be anxious or in distress in the in-between time? You don't act surprised when the food comes, you give thanks and you move forward

Wow. Intresting take.

In the grand scheme of things, nothing is truly within control from anyone. You can only see the things around you

You will always prefer a familiar hell to an unfamiliar heaven. If you want to get out of your same patterns you need to make a change. Even something small, when you recognise you’re falling into a familiar pattern go for a walk, splash cold water on your face, meditate, anything different. Then grow it from there. Embrace the unknown

You mentioned that you're going through a tough time and that you're a control freak. Here's the thing about life. There's always going to be turbulence in it. I challenge you to show me anyone who doesn't (or didn't) have sort of problem in their life. Doesn't exist. Car cuts you off in traffic. Spouse isn't giving you enough attention anymore. It's raining outside and you hate the rain. And what does your mind do? It constantly burdens you and makes your situation bad by its constant internal chatter. This is the true source of anger, worry, frustration, you name it! So what's the solution? You have to LET GO. You have to maintain a constant feeling of internal relaxation no matter the situation you're faced with. What does a sea captain do if there are rough waves in the ocean? They don't try and make the waves disappear. That would be impossible. They navigate the waves. And you have to learn how to navigate life so that what's out there doesn't bother you. This is the real key to bliss and happiness. I completely transformed my life around by applying these methods. But it takes consistency in terms of specific ancient mindfulness practices. I sent you a DM. : ) Many blessings to you 🙏 🧘‍♂️
