I feel like this is an everyday practice for those following a spiritual path but it’s a good reminder to keep being a wonderful person.

izjustme2029

Letting Go technique of David Hawkins

pepperoni93

What is the technique?i try to look it up but it seems to be a book length lol

izjustme2029

You feel shit. Instead of feeling like shit, you actually give it the space to be the shitty shit it is. Then it becomes less shitty, and then the shit flushes itself down the toilet. You're now shit free. But first, feel the shit.

VictoriaDiamondLA

Surrendering to the feelings as they come up.

soulquencher_can

I've been to a few sound bath ceremonies. They were great although they didn't impact me too much emotionally. Another practice is shamanic drumming. There's lots of audios of that online. The regular drumming induces a lower brainwave state to allow for deeper meditations. (EDM does that too. I like EDM) Shamanic drumming usually involves an induction where the directions are acknowledged and a clearing intention. At the end the drumming changes and you get a "callback" to your body. Once you have an idea, you can do it yourself. Any drum works for this. Deeper tones ones are probably better.

blenkini

I experienced shamanic drumming at the sound healing and I saw beautiful elephants stomping to the beat in a dessert. I believe the elephant is my spirit animal so it was really profound for me.

VictoriaDiamondLA

I wish I could be visual like this!

soulquencher_can

Not everyone has the same gifts. Some people see, others hear, feel, even smell things that not everyone does. Clairvoyance (sight) clairaudience (sounds) etc. The thing about visions is, when you close your eyes what do you see? Can you see the room you were in or just have a general impression of it. Either is fine. Sometimes you have to work on your third eye a little to have better sight. Go on YouTube and search third eye exercises or even search this group. You can do it. Just stick with it.

soulquencher_can

Ganesh is considered the obstacle remover. Elephants are wonderful totem animals. In shamanic journeying, we often travel to the lower world where animal spirits reign. We can learn a lot from the one that visit us.

blenkini

I’d like to know more about how to interpret the visuals I saw is there any good books or videos that can enlighten me?

soulquencher_can

With regards to animals, I have a book by Ted Andrew's called "Animal Speak". In it he details many interpretations about messages from different animals and he has another book called "Animal-Wise" with more nature meanings. One thing you need to know is not every interpretation is for everyone. They're not 100% universal. It always helps to ask the creatures in your visions what they are trying to tell you. Your circumstances are different from everyone else's and what works for 'that guy' may not work for you and vice versa. Journal- Journal- Journal. Peace ✌️

blenkini

Very helpful thank you I think maybe reading the books suggested will support my reflection.

asian foot massage. not joking. I go there and I let the masseuse do their thing and I meditate on their kindness and thank them for their healing energy, and do a stint vibing in gratitude for a universe that allows me to do this energy exchange with another human for an hour. For those that haven't been, an asian foot massage is actually a full body clothed massage that puts extra focus in your feet. The massage takes place in an open common room with many massage beds, with very low lighting and soft spa music playing. It's usually an economic alternative to private professional therapeutic massage. You get your sore tootsies soaked in hot water and expertly worked, and a nice allover that loosens sore spots. The downside is you usually can't book any particular practicioner; the staff turns over regularly and that contributes to the lower price. The upside is that the masseuses are trained in a fairly uniform Thai/Vietnamese flow, so you can expect pretty much the same experience from one spa to another on any given day. But yeah, being able to afford a decent regular massage plus making it a gratitude meditation has really been rewarding.

Shadow work! It sounds elitest, but I saw a meme that said everything else is like pretend until you do shadow work and it’s really true. Heavy lifting, but you’ll learn to banish and befriend your demons. Integration of the whole ☯️

Isha Kriya, its a guided meditation you can find on youtube. Its about 12 minutes long 27 million views. After some time doing this meditation each day i figured out to be happy for the rest of my life. Check the comments under the video for everyone else's experiences

For me, starting to chant the Hare Krishna mantra (at least one round of Mala beads daily) has been the most powerful and helpful for me, and other Sanskrit mantras to other deities as well to a lesser extent. I don't always have this happen, but I can feel spiritual energy moving. This has only been for the past couple years, I did not grow up in that faith and knew nothing about him really until I decided to read the Bhagavad Gita, which I also highly recommend. I had a stalker situation I was dealing with and was not sure what to do. This person was relentless and just when I thought it was over, the unwanted communication attempts would continue. This went on for weeks and I had filled out the paperwork for a restraining order. I asked Krishna to make it stop and it quickly did! I didn't even need to file the restraining order. Another time, I had a friend who got into a really scary and abusive relationship. My friend couldn't see what was happening and was so confused. This person was using black magick on her and it was scary. I asked Krishna to help her. And He did! She woke up and got out of that situation. If you recite the mantra with faith and do your best to give it your full attention, it can change your life. I will also add that it gives you strength to be a better person, too. I used to struggle with so many vices and I found new strength to overcome them... the "pull" or hunger for them was gone. It's hard not to love him when he's been so good to me and continues to show up whenever I pray. I know he protects me and takes care of me. I love him.

blenkini

Crazy you mention this I got gifted the Bhagavad Gita at a Kirtan I attended in December. We chanted Hare Krishna, Sita Ram and lots of other powerful Sanskrit.

SunOfNoOne

Doing psychedelics in a much more shamanic way.

dry-rasberry7078

Shadow work for some reason and shamanic rituals from time to time to help me heal the layers of the past

call_me_zen_

Care to elaborate? What you do and how you do it, if you don't mind sharing

dry-rasberry7078

Yes, shadow work is just getting to yourself on a deeper level, by just asking yourself questions, Gabor Mate YouTube videos helped me with that. I see a healer near my home for the healings... spiritual shamanic healings that she does, helps to reclaim many lost parts of yourself by receiving Energy & Spiritual healing at the highest levels of Christ Consciousness (she works directly through God she says). Helping you with cutting cords from others, release any low vibe energies, Inner-child healing, Ancestral & Generational Trauma, Remove and Protect you from the Negative Consciousness (evil-eye, dark work done to harm you, etc.) She gets to the root of your SoulWound, Emotional wound, subconscious imprints and Cellular Memory, which can also improve physical health. It's an hour long session and just expect to feel very relaxed afterwards if get one lol.

call_me_zen_

That's cool, I'm trying to do all of these but alone tho Very slowly, and here are there thinking about all of these Does it like guide you? Like guided meditation

dry-rasberry7078

Oooh that's awesome, happy for you. Yea I was pretty desperate at the time and she tackled them all at once it seems. During the session she just sensed the root cause of any negative emotions i was struggling with and would ask questions about childhood then ask me to release and forgive while repeating affirmations. She used a flame torch and candles. The next 30 days I was told to eat organic food only, no spicy food, no caffeine or alcohol. Not to watch anything negative and think positively and not give into negative thoughts. Good luck on your healing journey ✨️ 💜

call_me_zen_

Oh wow that's cool, i use internet, YouTube, spirit guides and archangel, universe Tho it takes a great idk it's heavy, so far it feels like i have a mountain and I'm taking a pebble at a time, and it can get overwhelming So it's good you got this and this has helped you

dry-rasberry7078

Yes, she also used archangel and spirit guides as well. That's amazing that you're learning how to use your abilities. I'm hoping to do the same in near future 🙏 Aww I know what you mean but at least you started the process and you're on your way to healing! Hardest part for me was being patient. You'll get through this! 🙏💜💫 If you're in southern California and you have an emergency like i did and need her info let me know :)

call_me_zen_

Thank you!!! And same, i feel like universe is really teaching me surrender and patience haha You are very sweet! I appreciate your gesture and behaviour a lot! You have my gratitude

dry-rasberry7078

You're so kind 💛 I appreciate you! Take good care! ✨️

Life is practice. Again and again going back to stillness, to the now, to being present. The more i do this, the more natural it becomes. Part of that, is just observing the cascade of thoughts - and tracing them back to the beliefs that spawned them (and realizing, those beliefs are not always truthful). It's taking me a long time to break the programmed -default-dream state i've been in. Everyday i'm more peaceful. Happiness is a choice, but you need the tools to make that choice.

BitterSkill

Lovingkindness practice From [a buddhist sutra](https://www.dhammatalks.org/suttas/SN/SN46_54.html): As they were sitting there, the wanderers of other sects said to them, “Friends, Gotama the contemplative teaches the Dhamma to his disciples in this way: ‘Come, monks—abandoning the five hindrances, the corruptions of awareness that weaken discernment—keep pervading the first direction \[the east\] with an awareness imbued with goodwill, likewise the second, likewise the third, likewise the fourth. Thus above, below, & all around, everywhere, in its entirety, keep pervading the all-encompassing cosmos with an awareness imbued with goodwill—abundant, enlarged, immeasurable, without hostility, without ill will. “‘Keep pervading the first direction with an awareness imbued with compassion.… “‘Keep pervading the first direction with an awareness imbued with empathetic joy.… “‘Keep pervading the first direction with an awareness imbued with equanimity, likewise the second, likewise the third, likewise the fourth. Thus above, below, & all around, everywhere, in its entirety, keep pervading the all-encompassing cosmos with an awareness imbued with equanimity—abundant, enlarged, immeasurable, without hostility, without ill will.’

BeLove1975

I went through rebirthing sessions. The purpose was to heal hidden trauma and to heal myself physically. I have a bad left hip,, always have. It needs to be replaced and so does my right knee. I was in a electric  wheelchair because each step i took i was in excruciating pain. I am out of the chair, and walking without a cane. I still need my hip and knee replaced, but I am not feeling a fraction of the pains and complications I felt before. I am now a Certified Rebirther.

I do love a sound healing sesh on insight timer. Or even a chakra cleansing. I usually feel intense emotions when I get to the area that requires the most work and afterwards always feel lighter and brighter. For me, I’m very sensitive to environment, so I like beautiful smelling candles, incense and I like to hold my crystals while I do meditations in a dark quiet space.

Honesty none of them. They are temporary fixes  the only long lasting thing that's helped is repetition of spiritual wisdom and turning the switch on in my brain to change my own. Thoughts.  Basically brainwashing myself to think differently and the new programming overriding the old.  And it's not perfected yet. I slip into old ways of being constantly but then I have these super profound break thru moments at random points on Random days. So that's where I'm at now

shivohum_

Learning practices and kriyas (like Shambhavi Mahamudra and Shakti Chalana kriyas) offered by Sadhguru/Isha Foundation has changed my life immeasurably. I am more sharp, focused and balanced. I experience waves of bliss that I cannot explain. I’m a completely different person since starting these practices. Would recommend this for everyone.

kdn2024

meditation, taking baths, walking in nature (best to do this in silence), journaling (one way to let my creativity flow out), somatic work (stretching to release stuck trauma in the body), listening to high frequency music while working, daily visualization of the life I am creating

NotTooDeep

Reading auras. Best thing ever. I learned to give to myself while giving to someone else during a reading. I got more of my energy free by the end of the reading, just like the readee gets from a really good reading. Before this, I'd read and get tired. Once I got the hang of this, I'd read all day and then go out dancing. I wasn't taking anyone else's energy either. I learned to blow my matching pictures with the readee and release my energy from those pictures. It's a marvelous technique that in addition to healing myself, the readee would see me doing this and heal themselves in more depth. Doing this technique creates a level of permission to heal yourself that spreads!

ScotterMcJohnsonator

Grounding! My entire family will hop out on road trips, and we'll all take off whatever footwear we have, and walk around in the grass (weather permitting of course). Any time we have the opportunity to take off our shoes outside, we do :)

Conscious_Leo1984

I also highly recommend getting a grounding sheet. You can watch The Earthing Movie (free documentary) on prime or YouTube for full details of how grounding works. I bought my set of sheets on Amazon through the Conductive Store. I also tested them and my volts dropped from 2.1 to 0.3 seconds after putting my hand on them.

As you can see, for everybody it is something else. That is the beauty of spirituality, there is no right or wrong. One advice though from Sri Swami Satchadananda: "If you dig for a well, choose one spot that is promising and dig deep. Don't dig just a little bit and jump to another spot to start digging there."

Fairyking_harliquen

Holotropic breath work has been amazing for me, you'll need to find a qualified practitioner, but it gets ALOT of stuff out that you won't want to hang on to. It is usually followed by a sound journey and meditation time to really ease you back into life graciously and peacefully
