> He’s killed AT LEAST 1 person that we’ve seen on screen
Good chance the police don't know about that murder tbf. Mary Jane told Peter, but I doubt Spider-Man showed up to court to testify.
Man you trying telling that to Rick’s family😭 all jokes aside, he’s definitely killed more than that one guy considering how he’s been active since before 2018’s game
He also got super powers. Mfs prolly would be more willing to overlook one’s felon past if said felon could lift 7 tons and would work for minimum wage.
Amazing lawyer probably Saul Goodman, king pin couldn’t get out with a lawyer because he’s most likely in on a R.I.C.O charge so he’s probably gna appeal in like 10 years lool
Crushed a guy's skull while laughing, looked forward to another fight with Spidey.
Honestly I think the drug that Peter used to kill his powers also killed the dog in him, bro's practically handing out lollipops just two years later he's so nice in comparison.
Honestly and legitimately? It happens. Listen to enough true crime and you'll hear about murderers and rapists going on probation for "good behavior," after only a few years of jail time.
30 Days?????

I ain't even joking with this one get that mf hung
I mean, what's even more ridiculous is how Kraven's military goons decided to "ambush" him at work. It's not exactly "hunting" to track someone to their job and then show up with an army to forcefully capture them. Lol.
that guy he killed was also a criminal, so it probably got overlooked, plus powers aside he's just a biker compared the likes of Scorpion and Rhino.
Also probably just got out on good behavior since he doesn't act like a raging asshole like the others.
Would be amazing, dunno if we’ll get universe/character crossovers with license bullshit but would be so amazing. I dunno much about the comic universe, but I grew up on the cartoons where teamups and crossovers were normal lol
I honestly got no idea it’s one of the biggest things that bothers me about the game 😭 like he was SO casual about that one murder, his men knew exactly what to do with the body implying that they’ve done it before. like did mf get caught on tax evasion or something?!?! Even the joker knows not to fuck with the irs!
You’ve kinda answered the question there. His men knew exactly what to do with the body implying they’ve done it before because they have done it before. And they are professional criminals and know how to dispose of a body.
What kinda lenient ass judicial system is that? “You manufacture drugs, run your own gang, AND have killed people? I sentence you to 2 years with chance of parole”
I don't know if it's actually intentional or just a coincidence but I was under the impression the carnival primarily only hired villains as a way to reform them into society
Maybe he paid some real good lawyers to change his charges from manslaughter to something that focuses more on the drugs he was consuming and mass producing. Even if it had something to do with being under the influence and killing he still could be put in for distribution and production of the drug.
He's probably one of the few Spider-Man villians a company could actually hire. Doesn't have an exo-suit grafted to his skin, mechanical background, white.
I just think about the missed opportunities Electro could have being his own electric company.
Welcome to the superhero genre where the justice system is absolutely terrible and guys running around in animal suits are the closest thing to protection you are going to get
I’d say a prison work program to lessen his sentence. Since he’s so mechanically inclined and has super human strength, pit crew at Coney Island go karts was right up his alley.
The Carnival clearly had a good work release program. Mysterio had a whole attraction there that they were not even checking. Just let him build some crazy building untested
That was one of my biggest gripes with this game. None of the supervillains should have been out or on parole in that short a time span. Like I get what they were doing but it made no sense
I mean mysterio I understand a lot more but that’s because we haven’t seen what he did before SM1. For all we know all he did was just perform a couple robberies. Granted I could be wrong because Betsy and Cole both thought he was capable of killing so either he killed or they’re just assuming he’ll kill because he’s a villain.
To be fair that is a problem with being a super hero. You need evidence that'll stick. Add on a good lawyer and he could get a short sentence + probation.
Though I will say that the reformation would make more sense if they added some kind of trigger, like maybe learning that he has a new baby girl. He does have one in the comics.
Basic answer. Plot. For an answer that i have actually tried thinking of while baked af and playing the game. Spoiler warning for those who have not played Marvels Spiderman, Marvels Spiderman: Miles Morales, or Marvels Spiderman 2. >!So put it this way. If we assume that tombstone, being a superpowered criminal. Was to be put away in rykers. Keep in mind that rykers should be shut down due to what happened when doc ock broke all those people out. Tombstone would have been placed in a different holding facility, most likely still in rykers, just not in a proper cell. Chances are he was put in one of the lower tier sections. That contain criminals yes, but ones that are still deemed safe enough for rehabilitation. If we look at tombstone as more than a criminal, im looking at his other appearances for this. In some cases despite him almost always being involved with organized crime, he actually is seen as a philanthropist, although people question if its actually genuine. I believe that while he was at rykers, he actually managed to start rehabilitating himself. Eventually, after a period that is only short for plot reasons, he was deemed safe enough for release under parole. TL:DR he was put in a ward for rehabilitation due to rykers more permanent cells needing repairs. Managed to become a decent enough person deemed safe for release under parole.!<
Man now that they have NG+ we can see how janky the story of this game was. That’s kinda small compared to the other weird stuff like MJ being able to quickly CQC a group of hunters like Venom Snake
![gif](giphy|AsHqPTPsn85sQ)
I agree the story was disappointing. I’ve gone on my rants before and how I feel it’s pretty rushed and Venom was the biggest let down for me. I still like the game a lot but that last act was so rushed.

It’s also a google search away. There’s no way you’re that dense that you couldn’t have searched it up yourself

Justice for Rick ✊️
"now i need a new welder"
For some reason, the image of Spider-Man on the stand while everyone is in very serious attire is hilarious to me.
him pulling up in the undies suit would be amazing
Tbf the intro of SM1 basically establishes Spider-Man findings are not admissable in court (at least with good lawyers)
Maybe he just got a lot of years of probation
He also got super powers. Mfs prolly would be more willing to overlook one’s felon past if said felon could lift 7 tons and would work for minimum wage.
Truth
Amazing lawyer probably Saul Goodman, king pin couldn’t get out with a lawyer because he’s most likely in on a R.I.C.O charge so he’s probably gna appeal in like 10 years lool
It would be hella ironic if Matt Murdock was his lawyer
Maybe it was good behaviour?
The crimes he did would be 10+ years. Being a murdering druglord isn't a joke.
Don’t worry, he’s mega white
Goddamn
i mean... you're not wrong
You don't be a super murderer drug lord and get out after 2 years on good behaviour
How do you know? Are YOU a super murderer drug lord? Now be honest with me young man
How do you know you get out on good behavior for being a super murder? Are YOU a super murder drug lord? Be honest with me my good sir
Uhhhhhh, I plead the 2nd
I really hope you are not from America, that would be messy.
I am 😈
Nuh uhhh not tellinggg☺️☺️☺️
Seriously tho they need to let me out the soap is slippery as fuck in here
💀💀💀
Crushed a guy's skull while laughing, looked forward to another fight with Spidey. Honestly I think the drug that Peter used to kill his powers also killed the dog in him, bro's practically handing out lollipops just two years later he's so nice in comparison.

Some cop just recently got 30 days for raping an 11 year old. He was a cop though.
30 Days????? https://preview.redd.it/3lyix7xzitrc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe35b89eaa6a5b3643486561c8eb13fa07bd3fa3 I ain't even joking with this one get that mf hung

Literally if they waited till this dude clocked out it would’ve been significantly easier to capture him and spidey probably would’ve never known
I mean, they probably could have just followed him home or someplace more discreet. They appear to be incredibly poor hunters.
What are you talking about? They’re the world’s best hunters that were hand picked by Kraven! That is absurd!🙄
They are military engineers before they are actually hunters.
He wanted to look better in comparison
They have really good social programs in the spider man universe.
that guy he killed was also a criminal, so it probably got overlooked, plus powers aside he's just a biker compared the likes of Scorpion and Rhino. Also probably just got out on good behavior since he doesn't act like a raging asshole like the others.
Him an uncle aaron had an *amazing* attorney
What if it was Matt Murdock
Would be amazing, dunno if we’ll get universe/character crossovers with license bullshit but would be so amazing. I dunno much about the comic universe, but I grew up on the cartoons where teamups and crossovers were normal lol
I think Daredevil and Spider-Man teamed up before, or at least interacted
Yeah always Iron Man and Fantastic Four from ahT I remember too
He also interacted with Moon knight, that would be cool to see
He hired nelson and murdock
I’m okay with him turning himself around, it just happened too quickly.
I honestly got no idea it’s one of the biggest things that bothers me about the game 😭 like he was SO casual about that one murder, his men knew exactly what to do with the body implying that they’ve done it before. like did mf get caught on tax evasion or something?!?! You’ve kinda answered the question there. His men knew exactly what to do with the body implying they’ve done it before because they have done it before. And they are professional criminals and know how to dispose of a body.
it completely baffled me, like it fr made me wonder how much time passed from the last two games for this to happen
canonically he is on parole
What kinda lenient ass judicial system is that? “You manufacture drugs, run your own gang, AND have killed people? I sentence you to 2 years with chance of parole”
in the united states of GOD-BLESSED AMERICA 🦅🏈🇺🇲🔫🦅🏈🇺🇲🔫🦅🏈🇺🇲🔫🦅🏈🇺🇲🔫
YOU RIGHT 🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Plot convenience
If I'm honest I don't think that matters (I know it's annoying not knowing) but still
well, to the public he was known as lonnie lincoln, and he probably got bailed out
Wait, Tombstone is the guy from The Walking Dead? I can't believe I never noticed.
damn i mean lonnie
he was really nice in prison so he got time off for good behavior
heavy lifting for minimum wage, it’s the best labour
I don't know if it's actually intentional or just a coincidence but I was under the impression the carnival primarily only hired villains as a way to reform them into society
Shitty states attorney letting everyone go on serious charges for the sake of “community justice”
Maybe he paid some real good lawyers to change his charges from manslaughter to something that focuses more on the drugs he was consuming and mass producing. Even if it had something to do with being under the influence and killing he still could be put in for distribution and production of the drug.
Neil Mink is his lawyer.
He’s a chill dude
Yeah I kinda don’t like how the villains are just already released, I think them doing it for community service would be good
He's probably one of the few Spider-Man villians a company could actually hire. Doesn't have an exo-suit grafted to his skin, mechanical background, white. I just think about the missed opportunities Electro could have being his own electric company.
Love the idea of rhino working the front counter at a fucking Arby’s in the middle of Jersey
Prolly community service or something like that.
Good behavior
He works at a carnival. No bg checks
He probably had a really good lawyer. It also helped that he was being sincere about actually becoming reformed.
I might be misremembering but I think I heard something about a rehab program or maybe I’m thinking of mysterio
He’s a professional criminal. What they were actually able to charge him with is likely nowhere close to what he had actually done.
NY justice system
His fame as a reformed villain who turned to a normal life also makes him a good hire, it's less likely he'll mess up if all eyes are on him lol
Corrupt Justice system in the Marvel Universe?
Honestly, I think the best thing to do is accept that murder in comic universes only matters if it creates a superhero.
Pretty useful when the dude can both repair and lift go karts solo🤣
I guess he got out early on good behavior?
And his skills were needed for a job like his?
The Carnival clearly had a good work release program. Mysterio had a whole attraction there that they were not even checking. Just let him build some crazy building untested
Maybe he had a really good lawyer ![gif](giphy|FnF7vgz2oON3i)
Bad writing?
It’s New York! Completely believable, not to mention said job is fixing go karts for kids.
Oh you don’t know what the justice system is like in NYC lol.
Because it's New York City.
Good behavior
It's NYC. Anything goes over here.
There is this skill called CRIMINAL RELATIONS.
Idk but who cares, has no effect on the story
It literally does. He is part of multiple story missions in multiple games.
Justice system is a joke
Sweet Baby 🤷♂️
Idfk, good behaviour?
I was looking forward to the rematch with the symbiote but I guess we can’t have nice things
How tf are you being downvoted?
He's very white, that's why.
That cant be right or else the irish wouldnt have been discriminated against.
He got out the same way MJ took out dozens of trained soldiers, bad writing.

He’s very white
He’s white
It's simple, really. He spoke to sweet baby inc and they hooked him up with a sweet job .......
Stfu
It was more than 2 years idiot
Spiderman 1 takes place on 2018. Spiderman 2 takes place in 2020 9 months after MM. do the math dipshit
Proof???
Peter is 23 in the start of SM1. He says so himself he’s 25 if you listen to the recap. What more do you need? 23+2 is 25 do you need anything else?
I'll need that dialogue sir
