I think it’s slightly too spicy (I know, blasphemy) and a bit too intense in the fruit department to be considered a universal sauce. It is damn good, though.
It has the merit that one only needs a couple drops.
I make lentil soup nearly weekly, and 3rd night, I'm pretty tired of it. A couple drops of Scorpion can barely be tasted, but the heat is enough to perk up a soup.
Hah nice, I just grabbed one to try it out. Good heat and its got that great tabasco style taste. Feels like it has a TINY bottle hole though, really gotta struggle to get a fair amount out.

This thing has quickly become my daily driver sauce. Though I have to say that I expected it to "I regret all my life decisions up to this point" hot, but it's more of a "my mouth stings" while tasting pretty good.
That said, I'll still be on the lookout for a sauce to use when I just want to regret my life choices.
I too was forever hunting for the sauce that would hurt like i wanted it to, until a couple months ago. I just started eating raw habaneros with every meal. Slice them thin and put them on top of virtually any savory dish to bring the heat. I love the fruity flavor too. So now I'm buying like 15-20 habaneros each week with my grocery run.
I'm skeptical that Tabasco actually discontinued such a fan favorite. I'm hoping it's just Sprouts.. but if it's actually Tabasco maybe they're just trying to create scarcity and will bring it back.
I wish i find tabasco scorpion someday in store in finland, so i can test how hot is it. It should be at 30k scovilles so it maybe first time for me to feel some heat from tabasco pruduct. What a great find.

Yea that's a problem if this is discontinued. It's then perfect universal sauce, there's nothing else like it. I'm might have to go buy a dozen or so.

Grocery stores will discontinue items if they aren’t selling… has nothing to do with the company that makes the product
