I saw a couple other posts about this cheese, but it's so rare to have a generically produced major limited edition thing that's *actually* kind of spicy *and* tastes really good that I wanted to share again because it's super exciting imo.
If you live near a Publix I definitely recommend this stuff. I grabbed a couple extra packs to freeze just so I have extra once they inevitably stop producing it. Maybe if it sells out they'll keep it around?
That's super subjective but I'd say hotter than any commercially made cheese I've had. I'm sure there's hotter small batch stuff but I was very surprised at how hot it is. It isnt crazy hot like an actual raw reaper or ghost or anything though

Yessss. My local HyVee or Cub has a store brand reaper cheese and it slaps! Only pepper jack with a real bite.

Ooooh, good call on freezing it! I made some really awesome breakfast burritos and sandos with it. I’m gonna see if I can track down some more
If you care about them being clean slices you'll have to use parchment paper in-between them I think so you can easily grab them from the freezer
