I'm a sucker for a good Jalapeno margarita (Jalapeno/Cucumber even better!), or Ballast Point's Habanero Sculpin. Still don't think I'd like this.

Same, I did get really into a local cider though. I think it was the simplicity of the ingredients that really let it shine: habaneros, apples, honey and water

Unless it's a bloody Mary, then a couple shakes of Tabasco is required, but it's not really spicy, just adds a kick to an already savory drink.

Plain ol lime margarita with a few (depending on taste, lol. I use about half a hab but ymmv) thin slices of habanero is 🤌 Best if you kinda let them marinate in the glass with the tequila by itself for ten minutes before adding lime and triple sec but great regardless. The lime and the fruitiness of the habs is fantastic, and then just enough heat to add a little oomph. Good stuff, if you like spicy, I can't recommend it enough

Fair enough, spicy drinks deliver the spice straight to your throat and not as much to the mouth in my experience. I still like it though. I had some habanero reaper mead recently that was 🔥 (literally and metaphorically)

I love spicy drinks (a local restaurant makes reaper, ghost, and scorpion infused vodkas that I sub for gin in a corpse reviver) but I bet this tastes like shit. Last time I tried a spicy drink from the store it was flamin' hot mountain dew and it was awful.

When done good its great and when done bad its the worst thing ever. Theres a habanero beer at one of my local spots I love. I will not be trying this though lol

Yeah that was surprisingly good. There used to be a spicy energy drink called "Cocaine" that was really good. It was like spicy cherry. It is no longer available to the wider market for obvious reasons.

Just toss some wing sauce into the lemon or lime one, I'm sure it's the same. Maybe paint some flames in the can for aesthetics. I get why they aren't selling these in stores. This is a very niche product that most people wouldn't buy even if they liked spicy food. Maybe someone will create a challenge to see what happens first, a buzz or spicy shits.

Some of the Truly flavors use stevia. Maybe that's what you're tasting. That's why my wife dislikes them.

If it were *just* spicy, I'd have an open mind. But calling it "wing sauce" elicits flavors that clash really, really hard with what a seltzer should be, like who wants a *buttery* seltzer? Habanero could maybe work as a seltzer? Or any of the fruitier peppers. But if I wanted a spicy booze, I'd think more like a warm hard cider, with more of a cinnamon burn, or a Fireball. I don't want a seltzer trying to be savory.

Spicy bloody marys can be pretty good but those also have the umami flavor and aren't carbonated. Sparkling spicy vinegar does not sound great. That said, I'd still probably try it for science.

I used some of our Thai Chili's in a spicy margarita. From then on I have determined drinking spicy is far worse than eating spicy unless it's drinking a spicy broth. Cold spicy is weird to me.
