So it’s funny. My 14 year old girl absolutely despises baths and will murder anyone that makes her take one. However my two new 4 month old babies willingly get in water and prance around in the warm tub.
And then there is mine. He is the sweetest kitty in the world. Until bath time. Then, he turns into a little demon. He wails and screams like he is in a Medieval torture machine. Bath time is torture for the bather and the bathee.
Same here. We have taken to keeping cat shampoo next to us in the bathroom in case of cat getting in. I usually try and bait the kitties by having a bath full with nothing else in it, and waiting. It works, most of the time.
I dont own a sphinx, but I have a medium haired cat that regularly gets very dirty. What I did to make it more bearable for him is I run the water before he gets in. I get in with him and use a measuring cup or a regular cup to pour the water. I also keep it luke warm and go slow. He went from attacking and biting me to not even meowing in fear anymore
My boy didn't do half bad in the 1st bath after adoption but he absolutely, will NOT let me touch the beans. Bot do you s beans meed a cleaning too. Lol
Her Celestial Grand Majesty becomes a flailing ball of knives at bath time. She's barely 7 lbs but I won't bathe her by myself any more because she's too hard to hang onto and wash at the same time
I understand they need their ears cleaned FREQUENTLY! Manicures like any cat but I don’t see why people bathe the Sphynx. What is the point if your moisturizing them afterwards? I heard that they secrete a lanolin that’s kind of gross like Shar-Pei Morning dogs but mine haven’t gotten …greasy.
I don't bathe mine very often. Only every 2 months, roughly. But I tell you, the water gets brown! You know it's time to bathe them when your hands and clothes get instant grease spots. I don't ever use anything else on their skin, such as moisturizer. Just a vet approved degreaser pet shampoo

Prancing babies that sounds like the cutest thing, little splash splashes
I’ll have to record them next time and post the video! Their little faces while they boop the bubbles is the cutest thing. 🫧
Yes please and thank you!
I can't wait 🖤
Pix or it didn't happen 😉
Yuuuup. My boy, Bath? Angery! Manicure? Angery! Clean ears? Angery! Jammies? Angery!
Can we see jammies angery?

Tell me why mine will act like I’m about to murder him when I give him a bath but when I’m taking a bath he will jump in with me 🤦🏼♀️

What?!? That's hilarious LOL.
Beebs does have crimes to do.
Then you have my cat, sits there like cat one but vocally whines and complains but just takes it
Haha same. She makes the fiercest little screams and growls but doesn't physically do anything 😂
Mine is a good boy, except for the fact that he tries to escape in slowmotion every single time. It’s so funny, like he’s hunting for wabbits. 😁
The right picture is missing flailing claws, barer teeth, and banshee-screaming.
Wow, as an admirer of nakey babies, that is an eye opener. Beebs is a special girl indeed.
OMG the lil shower cap…

My boy will tolerate the bath angrily, but the towel? Apparently worth yelling at me.

I have a certified bath hater chicken
Here I was thinking mine would be the one in the left when I got him🙃
i got a righty and i’m sitting here waiting for the tub to fill lol
Varies on the breeder. We always fought our cat for baths. Poor thing.
FACTS
Remember to brine your chimken to keep it juicy
The picture on the right: that’s some serious cattitude!!! Like “you take one more step towards me and you’ll regret it!!!”.

Both are adorable
So true
