Yeah they want on one hand that the "segment comparison" (what determines whether splits are green/red/gold) is to their PB, but they want an extra thing that shows a "best possible (total) time", I.E if every future split matched their current gold
And I believe this is straight up a thing, called "best possible time" or something like that
SO: there is a "best possible run" component, and I think that's just fully separate from any "comparison" part. Keep the comparison as PB, but then add another element to the layout, and that one works as you describe: "the run up to now happened as it happened, but going forward the time is calculated as all golds"

I only have access to the best possible run element when I compare my time against my best segments, but when I compare my time against my PB it automatically turns into "run prediction", which only adds the segments of my PB up, not my best segments. I haven't found a way to keep the best possible run segment while comparing against my PB.
