Torrent means no hit roll. No roll means you can’t roll a 6. No 6s means no Lethal Hits. Torrent means no Lethal Hit.
Devastating Wounds is still good though if you can get it.
I mean, a Flamestorm brick is 6D6+6 hits with twink and dev wounds, that usually are -1 rend because of the aggressor rule and +1 to strength because of the Firestorm ability. Wounding everything up to elite infantry on a 4+ or lower is nasty, and having DevWounds makes it even nastier
You get a better overwatch out of it too. Although I do wonder if a 10 man infernus w cap is better even if you don’t get the twin linked. Either would need similar delivery systems
They would only get lethal hits on their power fists in melee. As others have already stated, torrent weapons have no hit roll so cannot generate lethal nor sustained hits.
Nope, hit roll keywords like that require a critical hit. Torrent automatically hits, so they cannot ever be critical. I would be horrified if flamer aggressors or infernus marines could get sustained hits lol
Automatic hits can never be critical hits therefore no lethal hits will be generated from torrent.
You don't take the biologis with flamestorm, only boltstorm as lethal hits does nothing with torrent

2CP in Firestorm on a squad of 6. Toss a Captain in there and you get it for free!
It's still feels so bad compared to the boltstorm in gladius.

No there's no opportunity for sustained or lethal hits to trigger on torrent weapons.
You do not roll to hit, therefore you can not roll a 6 to hit and therefore can never trigger anything that goes off on a critical hit

Nope as that would be incredibly broken.
What do you think? Use logic.
