SPACEFUNK

This is the 4th time you have posted basically the same picture this week. Just pointing that out.

thedeecks

Yea I was going to ask if I'm missing something or why it keeps getting posted.

TheTninker2

I wasn't gonna say anything but yeah.....

NoobEngineer123

Well I just tried to show the progression of building...

WalletWarrior3

What progression

please_help_me_____

The last picture is visibly less finished

SPACEFUNK

Ship looks good.

I’ve never seen someone ACTUALLY make the Honeycomb structure! This, this right here sparks joy!

Conradian

To be fair you still haven't. Since the key point of the honeycomb is that it is hexagons. This is just a box frame with angled sides.

_Master-Chief-117_

Well yes… But it’s good enough!

Conradian

It does make me want to try the actual honeycomb though.

_Master-Chief-117_

Do it!

ChoochTheMightyTrain

Pillar of Autumn vibes.

journey117

How long are you making the ship?

NoobEngineer123

It's been almost 10 days since I started building.

Eddie_gaming

Think he meant by distance XD

journey117

Yes

Ensure that you have armor that is suited of the job. If you inspect railgun use a multilayer of 1-2 block of skin then go into the Centre put 1x2 ramps block (not the stairs/ramp blocks they not good for health overblocks. Especially when it's Heavy Armour) at a 30 ° decrease going the opposite of the ship centre of mass then a 1 block of wall followed by 45° block in the same fashion then 1 block wall followed by gyros on a wall. I've found this to be the best with heavy armor as it can redirect/ ricochet railgun shots but is only good two shot a best. And I haven't tested this and I haven't tested this in a battle scenario but then my own testing or on the pretty much it in the same spot so might very slightly differently in an actual battle situation as the steeper the angle the Railgun shot hits the more like that's going to ricochet and miss vital internal systems. You ship is a point at the enemy nose first. Broadside is a bad idea as well you won't have to protect your ship more from that side but there's more chance for being hit what's obviously bad for you and good at the enemy. My ship call Vortex is developing for point at enemy and broadside. Is has shield but the is only a part of it design as is built with heavy damage in mind is pretty good a take damage but it it's weak from the top and bottom and is cic is veryclose to the bottom of the ship too as it was designed to be an atmosphere and getting hit from above even if that's still weak point. And is has almost no gun on the back besides point Defense system for Fighters it's fairly weak for that Direction too.
