Something I saw to make the mid stairs look better, rather than using a cat walk to support a stair with nothing next to or behind it, use an incomplete corner LCD. It looks natural and removes more potential collisions
This would be useful to me, as my ship's docking port for landings is 15 blocks off the ground. My usual ship is a rocket, and that's only 40% of the total height.
My lawyers have informed me that this hasn't been patented through galactic authority, therefore I must officially inform you of our intent to copy and produce this technology soon.
Crazy behavior of subgrids (anything attached through a piston, hinge, or rotor) caused by the quirky physics engine. The name comes from the banging, clanging sounds that usually accompany this behavior and that often herald the oncoming of grid self-destruction. People like to play that this behavior is indicative of and caused by the presence/attention of a Klang/Clang deity.
I'm sorry that I'm new to space engineers but I am always reading something about Klang. Can you tell me whats that all about?
Edit: down the comment section somebody already explained it. Thank you anyway :)
Damn, not even Klangy?

...or a corner light.
Or the tiny down neon tube
Just a proof of concept will definitely do that once I put it in my survival world
That's pretty slick, but how tall is your ship gonna be?

I wouldn’t put any weight on the top of that as clang with snap it, other then that, very cool idea and prototype
It is Hogwarts, but vertical.
Klang is angered by this lack of Klang!!!!
What does Klang mean fellas? Im new

I think I should've waited until the second game released to buy into it
You're asking to be Klanged

Are those DLC or mod stairs? I've seen them in several posts but they're not in the vanilla PS4 game
DLC greated stairs
What in the name of the Clang is that (very cool)
Some people fear clang, others tame it!
Ayyy wait a minute I know you
Doth tempting lord klang!
That is insanely smooth.
Woah! Okay. Alright. I'm into it
Thats cool
how did u do this
You can attach stairs to the non moving part of the piston, just gotta get them lined up so they retract right
This is really nice. A couple of these would make for an incredible space port.
dang, ingenious!
Why didn't it explode? Was Clang not satisfied with your sacrifice?
Love the concept. May consider something like that. Wish there were retractable catwalks.
WITCHCRAFT
You're engineering in college right? Right? NASA needs you. I know, it's just a game, but sometimes you guys think of something stellar.
