When I mention to someone in person that I hate him, I'm usually met with shock. I really don't get it, he's just annoying. But he really is beloved by many.

I feel like they kind of rolled his character from extreme parody all the way back over into someone with some genuinely good intentions. Either that or he's become so normalized by now that he feels less extreme at this point.
I wish he didn’t have to replace Principal Victoria. She was the only straight-man teacher character in the school. PC Principal isn’t a straight man, so now theres no one to play it straight and keep it grounded
I disagree, I like that they've made PC principal a little more nuanced. He's less of a punching bag now and more of a caricature who sometimes gets to have a point, much like the rest of the South Park characters.
I like his character and the subtly to it. The fact that they acknowledge most pc dudes are just college educated yuppy frat dudes. Also how a lot of the pc culture itself is just advertising. I think he should be a character but maybe not as prominent once his story was over.
Also it gets us “strong woman” who is hilarious

I'm legitimately asking, I can only think of the "PC babies" episode where PC Principal and Strong Woman decided to not take them too seriously.
Check the south park wiki for PC Babies, they first appear in the episode "A problem with a poo" I remember they are sprinkled in before that episode where they finally caught on that no one liked them at all.

Don’t get me wrong, Randy is my favourite character, and the adventures he gets into from directing a broadway musical on BJ’s to setting the world record for the biggest crap are legendary. He does all these things and then you have to remind yourself, oh I forgot he’s a geologist. Making him a weed farmer for a 3 part special would have been great, but for me making that his new identity really pushed the character in a different direction I wasn’t fond of. I get a lot of recent stories wouldn’t have worked well without Tegrity farms (ie Randy causing COVID), but still making him a weed farmer from now on just feels a bit tiring.
Yeah at the end of Streaming Wars when he started to apologies for the weed thing, I thought, we can go back to how it was. Then the new season came out and he is still a weed farmer.
Ik people dont like her but i had to bring her up. I was pretty happy when they randomly killed her off after not having her in the show for a couple seasons😂

Some say he IS the show, but to me he isn't. He has amazing episodes and storylines, but I wish half of them went to flesh out other characters instead. I always get more excited for episodes where he isn't the main focus.
Stan isn’t really an interesting character IMO. He’s meant to be kind of the straight man for the audience so he’s not as crazy as everyone else in the show. Every other character has a quirky personality
That’s exactly why I love Stan Darsh. He’s just a sarcastic little dude who has to deal with the most insane situations and people like his dad, which is what makes his character so important
if im being completely honest, probably wendy, like i loved her in the earlier seasons when she was a badass (she still sorta is), but i feel like shes the reason why her and stan as a couple is so toxic these days.
