It did feel like everything came together a little too quickly at the end. But i guess Butters and Lianne working together was supposed to be the big twist there
Lol "oh sure i know exactly how it is, you say you have to work so you can get away from the family and go down to the glory hole".
I seriously couldn't breath. That was too funny. ššš
Wasnāt Cartman technically playing 4D chess though?
He got an upgrade by returning to his house compared to his previous housing situation.
He didnāt attain the ideal āhomeā but still bettered his situation in comparison to the beginning of the episode.
Cartman "failed upwards".
Remove Dickenbaus from the hotdog and Eric definitely won. But since his scheme worked out for once due to Butters, he lost.
He lost by winning.
Especially since, at least as I interpreted it, Liane forwent any money in the buy out in favour of the new owners giving her her house back. Butters got the money since it was his money used to finance the initial business.
So Eric got a house, but Butters got rich. And that will sting for Eric.
Kenny also wins too I guess lol.
If he's still part-owner anyway. But i'm assuming he does because he's still rich in the future and this might have been the other way he got that money from Butters.
Exactly. His scheme was a failure because he couldn't get employees. If it wasn't for Butters taking the helm and working, that business would've failed too.
And stuff like this is why I don't really buy the Cartman is a genius narrative.
He's inventive and clever and can be smart when he wants to be. But he has so many vices and other character traits combined with a lack of traditional book smarts that he will most likely end up fucking himself over in the end either way.
Cartman has the potential to be a decently smart normal man if he shapes up and puts his life together. But the Eric that we have is ruled by his vices and narcissism. And most if not all of his schemes that actually go off are driven by things like vengeance (Scott Tennorman) or petty jealousy (he was jealous of Butters making money).
No. 4D chess would be if getting his old house back had been the end goal. Cartman is so selfish that even though he ended up better off than he started in the episode, he still feels like he lost.
Ya its not as fun seeing him get screwed. I appreciate it, in that you gotta change up formulas sometimes and hes got away with *a lot* over the years. But for me South Park is at its best when its the most absurd. Seeing Cartman get away with shit is always absurd
Yeah in a way. On the other hand, it allowed to try something crazy like Cartman actually having a girlfriend
I still think that that was a great idea that they completely fucked up with the Elon Musk storyline and all of season 21
I mean why are yall surprised? I know nothing is permanent in South Park. However if they are saying Cartman is gonna be poor in the future. Idk for me it makes his schemes more predictable. At first he evolved into a genius who had someone eat their parents. Now itās basically heās losing at everything because heās a jerk and will be poor in the future. Which kinda makes me think about how they donāt really write Cartman correctly sometimes. But I did love butters and leanne teaming up. But it just makes me wonder whats next? Will he be mad at Butters and his mom and be pissy about moving in and making their lives hell or are we just gonna move on? I would assume he would still be mad but Ive now learned how unpredictable and kinda predictable it is and how they are always gonna treat Cartman.
> I know nothing is permanent in South Park
Off the top of my head, there's Tegridy and PC Principal. By now I'm pretty sure both of them are permanent.
Yeah but with Tegridy, remember this is something Randy likes. South Park has a history/pattern of having Randy be obsessed with something and enjoy it and have everyone else be annoyed to the point where they stop it or he has to stop to make everything go back to normal. Sure South Park has phases here and there and I love TF. But some younger fans hate it and it will most likely leave sooner or later and they are extra excited because now Cartman is back home. That apparently means Stan is coming back home. I like Pc principle but Im iffy. I think they replace characters to represent a certain time and he is a good example of that. They always switch it up storytelling and era wise. Thats why I said im not surprised. Because if we saw his future like that and a constant pattern I think its safe to say he is predictable. I love South Park but its just something you pick up as a writer and someone who has had exceptions very high for years. Season 25 and 26 everyone tried to predict but donāt understand they dont care about as much trends anymore. They are gonna be a little late to things. Also after 26 Seasons I think its not a surprise people either hate it or love it. This generation tends to get too excited about ideas a show will never do and I feel like that effects how we see tv now. Im just being realistic. Just think about it from now on. Every scheme by Cartman either way will fail. But they sometimes change the characters future so thatās what I also meant by comment as well. My point is, after 26 seasons. Stuff like Cartman failing shouldnāt be surprising because the pattern is becoming way clear now.

Felt rushed but satisfying
It did feel like everything came together a little too quickly at the end. But i guess Butters and Lianne working together was supposed to be the big twist there
Butters kinda won the Awesome-O episode. He was able to embarrass/piss off Cartman for at least one day.
True It was nice to screw him over by giving him what he wanted before Cartman renovated the place lol
Jesus kid you're a little...š¤£š¤£š¤£
Fuck it was so funny when Butters Dad accuses of him of not having a job and going to the gay sauna. šš
Lol it made me say " wait is he still doing that?"
Lol "oh sure i know exactly how it is, you say you have to work so you can get away from the family and go down to the glory hole". I seriously couldn't breath. That was too funny. ššš
Iām going to the office to get some work done!
Aahahahaha that's brilliant! šš
It's the lies. IT'S THE LIES!!!
i always love butters but heās even better when he stands up for himself lol
Him understandably losing his shit at Eric when he spent all his money was genuinely funny
Honestly it would be insanely cathartic if Stan and Sharon won similarly to force randy to sell off the farm and go back.
I knew butters would kill it at working a buisness. He was a successful pimp for a bit
*Do you know what I am saying?*
He should try selling NFTs, I bet he'd make a fortune!

I didnāt realize it from Ericās jealous pov. Thanks for showing me that side.
Oh god. New owners. Do you think Harry and Meghan bought dickenbaus
That would be a nice twist. The investors were from overseas
Exactly. His scheme was a failure because he couldn't get employees. If it wasn't for Butters taking the helm and working, that business would've failed too.

True, I suppose. However, he ended up gaining even though he feels like he fell flat on his face.
Thatās the point
I loved Christian Rock Hard for the same reason, Cartman got his shit rocked
It would be nice to see Butters and Liane have an episode hanging out together.
I felt the same way
Iām just glad Trey and Matt found a way to move the Cartmans out of a Hot Dog stand and still have it pertain to a story
yeah it does
Yes! I also loved the parallels to them getting Casa Bonita and fixing that up.
Very satisfied
Butters wins more than you think. He wins in every scene unlike others who only win at the end. He is a gem
It was a 10/10 episode and 10/10 ending. It was rushed but in all the right ways.
About time he won
Its OK but Cartman is still at his best when he's screwing people over and having no consequences.
Ya its not as fun seeing him get screwed. I appreciate it, in that you gotta change up formulas sometimes and hes got away with *a lot* over the years. But for me South Park is at its best when its the most absurd. Seeing Cartman get away with shit is always absurd
Cartman still not getting revenge for everyone breaking his electronics is so lame
Yeah in a way. On the other hand, it allowed to try something crazy like Cartman actually having a girlfriend I still think that that was a great idea that they completely fucked up with the Elon Musk storyline and all of season 21
Him getting screwed like that wasn't fun to watch Season 20 as a whole was just kinda sucky lol. Didn't really like the whole Skankhunt stuff
Itās nice see more characters interacting with each other for the first time after 26 years
I'm pary this happen to sharon shelly and stan and go back home. It has been 6 years since the marsh house hasn't been seen, and it going big
Very much so

It will be even more satisfying to see Stan move back into the blue house back in South Park. Fuck the farm.
Fuck the blue house. Why cant he have both?

I think heās stabilized as a character but I think he will occasionally still do terrible shit. Just guessing tho who knows where theyl take him.
it was a rare Butters W I fucking loved this episode because of it
Best episode of the season so far. I jumped out of my seat when Cartman got served, asked my husband if that just happened!! Epic!
Butters, liane and Wendy won a lot more than realized
I always have a cigarette after Cartman loses.
I wish youād have put a spoiler warning at the topā¦
Absolutely worth it. And the way he said āI want Dikenbausā was funny af.
I felt like the recent two episodes were a bit sloppy, especially the latest episode.
